Nice course for a first timer, with plenty of tree-lined narrow fairways, a couple of doglegs and some narrow greens. With small mountains as a panorama, this par 70 plays very smoothly but is not overly difficult as water, present on a couple of holes, is not a factor and most of the holes are pretty straight, especially on the back 9. My two favorite holes are the right dogleg par-4 15th, with a small pond on the left side of the fairway, not too far from the green, and the par-3 17th hole, with its very narrow fairway and... tiny green, with two bunkers around it ! Having played some more courses from Sammy08 since, I can say that he has come a long way since this first course, as you will find out if you check out courses like Crosswind GC or Lakewood, to name a few...

Terrific (first!) design, this is a lot of fun and a very nice - and deceptively-difficult - course. The layout is a pretty straight-forward one but it's presented beautifully and is picturesque throughout. The difficulty comes in the form of slick greens (a couple of devils), narrow fairways and punishing rough - so a solid all-round game is needed to score well. My fave hole was easily the par 4 15th, a gem of a dogleg. Excellent design, really awesome for a debut, and very easy to see why many of Sammy's subsequent efforts are so highly regarded. Cheers!

Surely an excellent course, and when this is just your first design: where will we end?

Sammy you did a great job for your first design. Some of it looked a bit flat. Still a great first course. Neil and JJ are great designers. Take into consept what they advise and you will get better for sure. Great job!
