A beautiful course which plays very smoothly.
MSR Golf did another great job with the layout, plantings and the wide bunkers, especially. Other small details like a little shelter overlooking the marshland, a few benches here and there and an open tent to protect yourself from the sun (or rain ?) make this course very enjoyable.
Very large bunkers are present on the first two holes as you will see from your tee shots while the long par-5 3rd will only give you a chance for a birdie. The par-3 4th is visually nice even though it is not too difficult. As for the par-4 5th hole, it is the first real dogleg of the front 9.
My favorite hole is the beautiful par-3 7th with all the water in front of the slightly elevated green, but the dogleg to the left par-5 9th is nice too.
On the back 9, the par-3 11th and par-5 12th are nice, especially with that curved little bridge over the wetland. After playing the 14th, 15th and 16th holes, all doglegs, the par-3 17th will offer you one last chance to rest on the bench on the left side of the tee, before reaching the nice tee area of the par-4 18th and aim for the green guarded by big and wide bunkers.

A beauty of a course, nice details, nice colors, a course where you feel at home.
Surely a masterpeace (almost 5 stars in my opinion) for a pleasant game of golf.
