This course is a work of art and is stunningly beautiful, with its very nice hilly panorama and two wide lakes with a breathtaking landscape all the way around... With gorgeous plantings, very nice small stone walls around the lakes, rolling fairways, big rocks and some small cliffs, this par 72 is superb from the 1st tee to the 18th green and, for once, the pictures shown to illustrate it really reflect how gorgeous this course is ! On the front 9, even though all holes are very nice, my favorites are the right dogleg par-4 1st, with a blind and steep downhill tee shot and a great panoramic view of the mountains and the big lake on the left, and the par-3 2nd hole, with the green on the other bank of the lake with trees above on a rocky hill. The course then moves inland with some beautiful holes until you reach the unbelievable stretch of four (!) consecutive par-5 holes, where it will be "do or die" for you, starting with the downhill dogleg par-5 8th, slightly to the left, with nice bushes on the hill on the left side, high rough on the right, and an elevated green. The next three holes should belong to the "Designing Hall of Fame" ! The long (more than 630 yards) downhill par-5 9th hole is simply stunning : a blind and downhill tee shot with the big lake and some sand and dead trees on the left, a twisted fairway with a big pond in the middle and plenty of gorse bushes on the hills on the left side, and the green further downhill, above the beautiful cluhouse on the right side... The left dogleg par-5 10th hole is magnificent too, with the lake on the left side, wooded hills on the right and plenty of gorse bushes, further down, partially hiding the green on the right side, guarded by a wide bunker and high rough, with a gorgeous... waterfall to admire further behind ! Last, but not least, the right dogleg par-5 11th hole, looks like a postcard but it is pretty tough with a meandering creek crossing the fairway twice, with three small wooden bridges to walk over, and a gorgeous view of the mountains, far away past the last bridge... The left dogleg par-4 12th hole with a tee shot over the creek is beautiful too, especially around the green, with its panoramic view over the lake, just like the scenic (and long) par-3 13th hole (about 270 yards), with plenty of nice vegetation around the rocky mounds and two bunkers on the green. The right dogleg par-4 14th hole is gorgeous, with another blind and downhill tee shot flying over gorse bushes and landing near some high rocky cliffs, but the approach shot to the wide green is not too difficult. As for the par-3 15th hole, it looks almost "ordinary" despite its spectacular panoramic view of the wooded mountains ! Your postcard trip will continue on the very picturesque downhill right dogleg par-4 16th hole, with a great panoramic view of the lake further down, a big bunker across the fairway with plenty of bushes on the right side, and a gorgeous small island green with two bunkers on the sides, followed by the gorgeous left dogleg par-4 17th hole, with a very narrow fairway in the middle of the lake ! You will finish in grand style with the slightly-to-the-left dogleg par-4 18th hole, with your tee shot flying over the lake, just in time for you to admire the gorgeous manor/clubhouse behind the slightly elevated green... Needless to say, after playing this masterpiece, designed by BullPupp2, if Sleepy Hollow is the home of the Legend of the Headless Horseman, then you should hurry to... head on over there !

I'm a newbie to the site & this is the first fantasy course I've tried. If this is the standard of the fantasy courses, it certainly won't be the last one I try!
Just added my 5* worth - brilliant work...

I MEAN REALLY. HOW WE SUPPOSED TO DO ANY MORE COURSE DESIGNS WHEN THE BAR HAS BEEN SET SO HIGH FOR DESIGN EXCELLENCE. JUST AN AMAZING SETUP, LOOK AND FEEL. AS LAWRENCE WELK WOULD SAY (FOR THOSE OLD ENUF TO REMEMBER.) "WONERFULL, WONERFULL, WONERFULL"

Can't add much that hasn't already been said, except one word 'MAGNIFICENT'. Having all four par 5's back to back is an interesting touch. My favorite hole is the par 5, 9th. It is one of the prettiest golf holes I've ever seen, real or virtual. Outstanding work Bill - 5 stars

Here in Holland we had (and have) many famous painters: Rembrandt, Vermeer, van Gogh, etc. After these great three, in the 4th place comes BULLPUPP2 (although he is no Dutchman), the masterpainter of the Tiger Woods golfcourses. This course is of an amazing beauty; GREAT (5 stars)

This has to be one of your best Bill. On hole 11 I hit the first bridge started rolling fell though the boards. Then the next bridge same hole hit and bounced over and helped me out of trouble LOL. Just love the layout thank you for the time and work you put into this. *****

Fantastic course but I found it difficult, tricky greens, and miss the fairway and you are "toast" nice clubhouse! I needed a stiff drink in there after my round! lol going for a lie down now, cracking course (gromit).

There are many great courses on this site and quite a few I've felt happy to give 5 ratings. This masterpiece of a course is certainly up there with the best - it started very well and just got better. The quality of the graphics and variety in hole layout were just a joy to experience. Played very well with no lag for me.
I gave it 5 but would have happily given it 5 star plus if I'd have been able to. This is a cracker of a course Pupp, thank you for this wonderful addition to your other excellent courses.
This is a must download. It oozes quality.
