Another nice old-fashioned course from ron717, without too much plantings (besides the trees) and very few fairway bunkers. This par-72 will test your long game as a lot of holes require the use of the driver from the tee. Most greens are smooth, except for a couple of slopey ones, which should give you plenty of opportunities for birdies and a few eagles on the par-5 holes. Not real outstanding holes on this course but a few nice ones, like the par-4 5th, a dogleg to the right with a tree-lined sloped fairway, the par-4 9th for its view near the green and the par-5 10th, a dogleg to the left with the creek running across the fairway. As for the par-3 13th, there is no fairway per se with the slightly elevated green just staring at you... Not the most spectacular course by any means but a pleasant one to play, once in a while...

Beautiful course. After playing Winged Foot recently it's easy to see they are 'neighbours'. I can only imagine this one's stunning in real life too, as this design captured that. Not quite as difficult as it appears (although maybe I had beginner's luck) but it demands you play well to score well. Really enjoyed it, top shelf. Cheers!

Cracking creation once again Ron beautifull my long game was okay on it but the short game let me down but the enjoyment of playing far outweighed anything else lovely texture choices as someone sais just like being on a real course, 5 stars from me

As always another great course - I sure wish I had your talent for designing these courses. They all play great and look great giving you the feel of really being out there enjoying them in person. In fact every time I see one of your new courses I instantly download it without reading any of the comments because I just know it will be first class. Keep up the great work.

BrucMan...how about Sebonack, the Nicklaus course. I would love to see Ron do Bethpage Red as well. The National will do fine however...lol

Ron.
Love the course and I appreciate that you will take on old, traditional courses like this one. Since you do quite a few from the greater New York area, I wonder if you've considered doing a version of the National.

Thank you for your many wonderful courses of which this is surely one. This one played smoothly, something I have come to expect and appreciate in your course design. Looking forward to many more...
