This course is quite unusual, not only for its par... 76 (!), but also for its short, but very challenging par-5 holes, with uphill or downhill fairways (often) split by wide areas (filled with deep rough) and trees around, making your club selection, as you get ready to tee off, even more crucial ! The par-5 opening hole is one perfect example, as you will find out, with two blinds shots over some trees, the first one landing near a small pond across the fairway, and the second reaching the downhill green. Another blind shot awaits you on the par-3 2nd hole, the only one on this course (!), over more trees, and with an elongated bunker in front of the green, before heading for the par-4 3rd, with a small pond, across the fairway, midway, and an approach to the elevated green, sligthly to the right. After two straight par-4 holes (4th and 5th), you will then face the short right dogleg par-5 6th, with its fairway split in the corner, making your tee shot a little bit tricky if you want to shorten the distance to the green, before walking over to the right dogleg... par-5 8th hole, with a fairway, again split by deep rough, making your uphill tee shot quite short, and leaving you with no choice but to hit another blind and uphill second shot over more trees and deep rough if you want to reach the downhill green. More elevation is on your agenda as you start your way back home, with the left dogleg par-4 10th hole, uphill all the way, with a blind and uphill second shot over a small pond across, surrounded by deep rough and bushes, and the straight par-4 11th, with its steeply-uphill approach toward the green, with some nice rocks and deep rough to watch for on the way. On the right dogleg par-5 12th hole, you will have to follow your downhill tee shot landing near two bunkers in the middle of the fairway (with small rocks, bushes, and rough, a little bit behind, across), with another very long second shot if you want to reach the green, before facing two par-4 holes, the 13th, with a blind and uphill tee shot through a few trees and over deep rough and a small lake (to the right of the green), and the 14th, with another fairway, split by deep rough and trees and over which you will have to hit a steeply-uphill approach to reach the green, slightly to the right. The 16th is the last par-5 hole you will face, but it is quite tricky with a short and slightly downhill tee shot landing... short of a wide lake, over which you will have to hit a very long shot to get as close to the green as possible, before finishing with two right dogleg holes, the 17th and the tougher 18th, with a blind tee shot over trees landing downward (near a bunker on the left corner), and a second shot toward the elevated green, with a few bunkers to watch for in front. Overall, if this Sunset v2 2011 course is beautiful to look at, with its magnificent Sedona mountain panorama, nice vegetation (including a few... dead trees), small rocks and its stone benches, you will scratch your head quite a few times before mastering some of the holes with a lot of blind shots over trees but, if that's the price to pay to receive kudos from... Bravo Designs, then so be it !

The noise you hear though out the course is called a cicada. This insect can grow up to 3 inches long and are often miss taken for the sound of high voltage power lines. They do there very best to say out of sight in the tree's as the birds love to hunt them down and eat them. They have a breeding cycle of 1 in 7 years .

Nice job on the course, I like all the rock work( Hole 9 and 11 come to mind) also nice flower and tree planting. Didn't get the big blocks until hole 18. Just A few things I noticed, I had some buzzing on some of the hole not sure if it was A sound file or what, Also thought if you did A little more elevation work on some of the fairways I would like it A bit more. Thanks for uploading had fun!
