A quick update (yes, I can do that... sometimes !) on my previous comments that were made while playing with TW07.
I no longer saw the small glitches on the 4th and 11th holes with TW08 and the course ran like a charm. With gorgeous textures, plantings, nice colors blending in the sea and its pretty panorama, this course is beautiful, especially the holes near the coastline (10th thru 13th)...
Always a real pleasure to play it and a definite keeper, of course, thanks to RobC, one of the best designers around...

Smashing design, this is awesome work and the course is a gem. Naturally with such a setting, it has a real links feel to it, yet still "feels" American, so kudos to both the designer here and architect of the real course. It's a great layout with many great holes, especially the ones along the coastline - the 4th a standout. Plays smooth (perfect on dry) and looks a real treat, just loved it. Cheers!

A great course along a beautiful coastal panorama and sea. This course plays very smoothly and is visually very attractive, giving you the feeling of being there.
Textures are very nicely done and a couple of bunkers are quite deep, especially around a few greens. The dunes are everywhere but you should finish with a low score as greens are nice and smooth.
Graphic-wise, I noticed a small glitch on some holes next to the cliffs as the transition is not smooth enough between the cliffs (4th and 11th holes), the sand and the sea. But that might be because I am playing with TW07...
This will not stop me from saying that this is a masterpiece and a very enjoyable course done by Robc. Hurry to download it !

This course is a lot of fun to play with the wind up. Dunes are beautiful.
Thank you very much indeed.

With a 4.5 rating from over 1300 downloads & glowing compliments from some of the best designers out there, this was a must to try. Now that I have, it's a must to keep - so to all you newcomers reading this, don't miss out on a "must have". There aren't many RobC courses here, but I'm off to get the rest...

Just played this one and this course has a great atmosphere and really gives you that coastal feeling, very realistic, I was thinking is their any seagull models and gull sounds out there? I have not heard any in any courses but it would be good if there are. I give this one 4 stars easily

Love it, beautifully made, smooth as silk, and I just shot 60 on the PGAX Scratch tour.

Very nice as usual Rob. Looks very natural and plays great. Rough textures and cliffs blend well. Slopey but playable greens. Lots of fun in the wind

Tripel-This is one of the only West Coast panoramas available to designers. Not many choices there. The Course Architect is a very old tool with limited functions. Designers have to compromise and do the best that they can.

Rob actually did one of the best jobs with ocean color and blending that I have seen on an ocean course. Not easy to do.

A nice course, but it gives me a feeling of having seen all this before.
The coastline in the background is the same as in "Gorse Grove Resort" and some others, but that is a matter of using the same libraries every time, I suppose.
Maybe I don't have the right computer to optimize all the land- and seascapes, but I certainly don't like the strange, various, colours of the sea.
Also something that I noticed several times before in other courses.
Can Rob or any other designer tell me why this can't be better?
