A gorgeous natural-looking... fantasy course, nicer than a lot of real courses ! With its snow-capped mountains and a forest as a panorama, this par 72, not only offers some beautiful views but it also has some challenging holes, with quite a few doglegs, water hazards and some slight elevation. After the left dogleg par-4 1st hole, with a small pond in the right corner, and the right dogleg par-4 2nd with a downhill tee shot and an undulating fairway, I like the right dogleg par-5 3rd hole, with a downhill tee shot and a long approach shot to the green with a little creek running across not far from it. The par-3 4th hole is pretty too with a small elongated lake on the right and beyond the green, and is followed by the right dogleg par-4 5th, with a downhill tee shot landing near trees all along the left side of the narrow fairway, and a slightly-elevated green. Then, after the left dogleg par-4 6th hole, with a big pond on the left side of the green, the last three holes are quite nice : the par-4 7th has its fairway hugging a big lake on the left, with bunkers on the right, making it quite narrow, and a downhill tee shot followed by another downhill approach to the green, slightly to the left, and the par-3 8th hole is beautiful, with a downhill shot to the green with a small u-shaped lake in front, and a gorgeous view of the mountains as a bonus ! The right dogleg par-5 9th hole stands out too, with a downhill tee shot, a big elongated lake on the left and a smaller one, further to the right, near the slightly-elevated green, with grandstands and a nice clubhouse behind. The back 9 starts with three doglegs, with my favorite being the par-4 11th hole, with a downhill tee shot and trees on a hilltop partially hiding the elevated green to the right and, to a lesser extent, the left dogleg par-5 12th, with a slightly-downhill tee shot, an elongated bunker in the corner and an elevated wide green with a few bunkers in front. After the very scenic par-3 13th hole, with dirt and bushes between the tee box and the slightly-uphill green, you will reach the tough par-5 16th, with a lake on the left near the green and a fairway bending around it to the right (where it is safe to land your second shot) and then back to the left. Fittingly, the two finishing holes are pretty too : the par-3 17th is not too difficult but needs a downhill tee shot over a wide lake, whereas the left dogleg par-4 18th hole is all the way downhill to the green, with a big lake on the left and grandstands all around. With its nice plantings and design, Columbia Pines Golf & Country Club is nature at its best and, while it might not be the toughest course you will ever play, it is undoubtedly one of PCDurum's best, and you should hurry to download it !

No surprise to see so many glowing comments. This is an outstanding piece of work - a terrific course and beautifully designed. It's a contemporary style layout, not that much to scratch the head over, just top quality holes throughout that will ask questions of your abilities and reward good shots. It's smooth all the way, sweet on the eye, and ultra realistic. Loved it, a ripper track, cheers!

To quote Osterhuis.....BRAVO! A wonderful course. A 'Top Ten" for sure. Holes 7 & 8 are simply scintillating. Mix these gems with a few more dandys thrown in for good measure and you have a course you'll go back to play time after time.

Very good course. Nice run of holes from the 4th to the 9th and again from the 14th to the 18th. Thought the pano was at the right height, not too overpowering. Allways look forward to your courses.

Thanks for a wonderful course Mr. Durham, and to all involved with Coursedownloads.com. As a resident of B.C. with 50 years of experience playing in this province and the Pacific Northwest,I can truly say this is a exceptionally realistic looking course for this area. As my golf experience is now confined to my PC,this is a wonderful gift from a very talented designer. I am anticipating many happy hours playing this new track.

such a natural looking course, I really dig it with that Pano. Love the slope on your greens (played great on VD) and blend of textures. I also really dig that wavy effect on the edge of some bunkers...makes em look more natural. Holes 10 and 13 really stand out as being wonderful holes...Thanks for doing this

Another winner from you PC the fairways are on the narrow side so hitting true is A must. Also some key tree placements really make you think. The best thing is the course looks natural. ***** thanks, Rick
