As its name suggests, this course has very few trees and wide open terrain. With sparse planting and plenty of bunkers, this par-72 has some narrow and undulated fairways and very high rough on some holes. The short par-5 3rd hole, a dogleg with a small lake to the right is nice, but the most picturesque hole on the front 9 is the straight par-4 6th with its bunker-lined fairway. On the back 9, my favorite hole is the par-3 12th, with its green surrounded by trees and water on the right with bare land around, and the par-3 15th, similar but less attractive. Both par-4 17th and par-5 18th have water along the fairway, with the nice clubhouse to look at as you finish your round. Definitely not a British-type links course but it plays very well and can be challenging, at times. Thanks ron717 for sharing it with us !

As with all Pete Dye's work, this is an interesting and challenging course - and as with all Ron's work, this is another superb design. Enjoyed it throughout but especially so when water was featured - not surprising for a Dye course - with the 16th and 17th bringing in the wow factor. Beautiful work, a really great course to play, cheers!

Another very pleasant course Ron. Very impressive treatment of the wide grass areas. Pressed keys 1 to 5 in succession and even in the overhead shots I was unable to discern any appreciable texture patterning. Maybe the course will not be challenging enough for some but for an old plodder like me it is well okay. You are having a purple patch Ron.

I have a low end computer and the graphics in this course are jerky so I cannot play it. The other course ron717 posted Covered Bridge works just fine.

Nice work. Course was fun to play. Did have one small issue on the first par 5 where I was in the middle of the fairway but it told me I was in the deep rough. Overall was fun to play. Thanks for uploading!
