Well, a fall course, beautiful trees - we don't have any of those colors in Florida... So thanks for the colors, the course is fair and allows you to take chances without (usually) ending up in some place you can't get out of...but it does extract a penalty for being foolish! Appreciate the course, Pitbull, hope you're receiving all this positive feedback for you work.

Welcome to the Indian summer on this par 73 with beautiful autumnal foliage, wide open fairways, a couple of water hazards, subtle elevation changes and a few greens, partially hidden by trees.
On the front 9, nicer and more challenging than on the back 9, I like the par-3 2nd hole, slightly downhill with a little pond on the left and a couple of trees on the right, the left dogleg par-5 3rd, with a tee shot over a small bridge and pond with (too dark) houses on the right, and the short (about 380 yards) par-4 5th hole, with a fairway getting narrower as you get close to the green, with a small pond in front on the left.
The next two holes are quite short but nice : the right dogleg par-6th is about 480-yard long, with a wide open tee shot and an uphill shot to the elevated green, guarded by six (!) small bunkers in front (with a big slope on the right), and the straight par-4 7th hole is about 300-yard long and downhill, with a lone tree in the way, not far from the green, making it hard to reach it if you want to go for it.
But my favorite hole is the very picturesque par-3 8th, with a tiny creek on the left side and a small elongated pond right behind, with a little gazebo to the left of the green, and a few trees in the way of your tee shot, partially hiding the view of the green !
Then, you will finish the front 9 with the par-4 9th hole, a right dogleg, with a slightly-downhill approach to the green.
The back 9 has more wide open fairways and is less challenging, but I like the short (about 380 yards) par-4 10th hole, with a blind and uphill tee shot over a few trees landing onto a downhill slope and an uphill approach to the green, slightly to the left, and the scenic, short (about 320 yards) and straight par-4 12th, with nice small fir trees lined up in a boomerang-shape on a small mound on the right, with a few bushes around !
Then, after the par-3 13th hole, with plenty of high grass between the tee box and the green (and a view of those fir trees, again, on the right), you will have to be careful with your approach shot on the right dogleg par-4 17th, with a fairway, quite narrow as you reach the green, partially hidden by trees.
With nice colors and plantings, this Virginian Golf Club, well designed by Pitbull, plays very smoothly (despite a few displaying bugs – grainy patches between the panorama and the landscape and a “levitating” tee marker) and can be a little tricky, at times, with its few small greens...

Loved this one. Gorgeous course and layout, and superb design in every way. Great variety of holes throughout but the front 9 was the pick for me - every one a gem. A lovely course that I will revisit often, cheers!

I was extremely excited to find this course available but sadly, that was short lived excitement. I've had the rare priviledge to play The Virginian only once, but I remember it well enough to find it difficult to even recognize this as being the same course. Anyone who's even driven through the southwest portion of Virginia on I-81 knows that flat areas are very rare. The Virginian is no exception. There are no holes that are remotely flat as this rendering would suggest. Sure, it's a different course from those that came with TW08 but it's definitely not going to help me relive to joy of playing this course.

Really nice course good choice of textures ie: fairways and greens and the autumn trees are always a winner so excellent course.

Real nice course, very authentic feel to it, with the design and colours. Good job.
