Are you kidding me ? What a great course for your first attempt ! This par-72 plays very smoothly, thanks to the nice textures used on the fairways and the greens. The (very) high rough bordering the bunkers is very nice (as long as you don't end up in there !) and the work done on the elevation is superb. While this course is not the most difficult you will ever play, there are quite a few nice holes, starting with the par-5 2nd hole and its narrow fairway with a lone tree in the middle, followed by the short par-3 3rd and its elevated green, partially hidden by all the trees. I also like the dogleg to the right par-4 6th hole with its tree-lined narrow fairway. On the back 9, the beautiful par-3 11th and its elevated green overlooking some nice villas in the background stands out, while the nice par-4 requires a downhill tee shot. But my favorite hole might be the most difficult : the par-4 16th, a very sharp dogleg to the left, where after hitting a blind tee shot (hopefully landing on the slanted fairway), you will need a hit a great shot to reach the elevated green (beautifully done by the way !). After finishing my round, I could hardly wait to discover Pitbull's new courses, which says a lot about his talent already !

Yes this course is very good and for a first course its outstanding, really nice choice of textures liked the greens alot, only lacking as a bit of elevation around the course. some rolling hilly sections would be nice for a next course. BUT for a new designer you put many to shame, and many top designers have praised you so kudos to you!

There are no mistakes when you are starting off as a designer, this was an excellent first attempt, the plantings and design were without question very nice. Let the naysayers have no effect on your future designs this was a keeper.

Another excellent first course, everything played well, flowed nicely. As he progresses I'm sure there will be more challenges. Thanks for putting this one up for us to play.

this is a great course for being bulls first. Like Jimbo said, his attention to detail in the drivng range and clubhouse really help the course flow. a couple risk/reward par 4's keep your guard up. Watch for his future courses if he decides to keep going. way to be.

For a first course design I thought this was very well done, it played smoothly, looked good (including attention to detail) and included course life and sound. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next design. Many thanks for sharing this course.

It's been 20 years since I last played Blythefield but here it is. Very nice job on this course. Looks and plays pretty much like I remember it except the grass is longer around the greens than it used to be. Don't be fooled by the fact this is the designer's first course. It is a keeper. I would love to see Pitbull do Pilgrim's Run which isn't that far away from Blythfield. I look forward to your next course whatever it is. Congratulations.
