Nice little course, not overly difficult with many wide greens but a few well-placed bunkers and some water hazards will keep you in check on a few holes. On the front 9, I like the right dogleg par-4 1st hole, with the lake on the left side and behind the green, the left dogleg par-4 2nd, with lakes, left and right, the par-3 5th hole, quite scenic with four bunkers and a few palm trees around the green (and the lake behind), and the left dogleg par-4 7th hole, with an uphill tee shot and a long blind approach shot to the downhill green, with the lake very close behind. The par-4 8th hole, slightly to the left, with the lake below all along the fairway on the left side, and the par-3 9th, with the flag at the tip of the peninsula green, surrounded by water, are nice too. Coming back, after the dogleg par-4 10th hole, with the lake on the right side, and the par-3 13th, with its wide peninsula green, the course is less scenic as it moves inland, with the right dogleg par-4 18th hole, being quite... bare around the green. Playing-wise, this course runs like a charm but, despite its nice plantings and landscape, I do not think it is challenging enough, unlike some other Neil Munro's courses, but that does not take away, of course, all the great work done to design this one in a very short period of time !

I expected something Scottish (generally my favourite courses) but I was surrounded by palm trees; but: a beauty of a course Mr.Munro! (4 1/2 stars) Keep on going! Thank you.

Played this course in tournament over at PGAX. Another great job by a great designer, especially when you consider the time constraints.
