Another well-designed and wide open course from ron717, with that nice Devil’s Tower in the valley as a panorama, plenty of undulating (and a few narrow) fairways, some elevation changes and a few water hazards, but not too difficult with its large and smooth greens. My favorite holes on the front 9 are the nice downhill par-3 2nd, with its pretty panoramic view of the Devil’s Tower beyond the green, and the challenging right dogleg par-4 3rd, with a blind and downhill tee shot over trees (and a hidden elongated lake behind), and a slightly-elevated green. On the par-5 6th hole, pretty straight but with a narrow and undulating fairway, you should be able to putt for an eagle, which might be harder on the other par-5 8th, a very pretty right dogleg, slightly-uphill all the way, with a small creek running along on the left side of the fairway and a long and blind approach over a few trees in the corner toward the green, with a small lake to watch for, on the right. You will then go back the other way with the right dogleg par-4 9th hole, with a tee shot over that lake again (with a nice wooden bridge on the left). Coming back, I like the pretty right dogleg par-4 11th hole, with a tee shot over a big pond (with that wooden bridge again, on the right), landing onto an undulating fairway (and with plenty of trees on both sides as you approach the green), the straight but nice par-4 12th, with a small creek flowing across the fairway, midway (with wooden bridges left and right), and the nice right dogleg par-5 14th hole, with a tee shot over a meandering creek (in front) landing onto a slanted and undulating tree-lined fairway, and a long second shot to the slightly-elevated green. Then, after the left dogleg par-4 15th hole, with its wide open view of the valley, you will get another eagle opportunity on the short par-5 16th, with a winding fairway and a blind approach toward the slightly-downhill green, before walking to the right dogleg par-4 17th hole, where you might see a couple of... deer eating grass on the left of the tee box, and finishing with the par-4 18th, with another undulating fairway and a wide elongated green, slightly to the left, with one last look at the Devil’s Tower. This Crow Creek Country Club course is quite eye-candy and fun to play, two good reasons why you should give it a shot and, with potential eagles on all par-5 holes, you should also finish with a low scorecard on this nice par 72.

Last night I tried to play Coty Peak (willie), became mad of all those bunkers, and quit. (with sand in my eyes, nose, mouth, etc.) This course is almost the same "Devil's Tower panorama" design, but here all no bunkers at all. So this one was much easier to play. An amusing course it is. Thank you Ron! By the way: why can't we rate your courses. You have to fear nothing, because they are all fine!! (so many stars)

Another very good design, ron's courses are always a pleasure to play. Liked the open feel to the course. Many thanks for sharing this course.
