Where else can you get such a fantastic pano like in Dubai ? With the Burj Khalifa tower facing you, this course is unbelievable in terms of the attention given to every detail, ranging from the towers to the cranes, the villas, etc... Plantings are very well done (soil, bushes) and, if your survive the big ponds or small lakes, "nice" bunkers will remind you that to shoot a low score, you will need to hit precise shots. This is one of the very few courses where I have a hard time choosing my favorite holes. So, instead, I will just tell you to enjoy the course and wait until you reach the last 3 holes... A masterpiece, hands down, thanks to the great talent of BullPupp2 !

Excellent rendition Bill,I know you didn't have a lot to work from so you did a fantastic job. After seeing it on tv I can say there are some really big lips on some of the bunkers so they are pretty darn close I'd say, and yeah I think the bunkers are really cool too! Thanks for bringing it to us!

Great work Bill. Great job on the plantings and structures. They really make the course look natural which can be so tough on a desert course. I really dig the view behind the green on 13.....It's outstanding.
Bunkers look great too....Lip's mabey a little big??? Play was challenging and FPS was great on my rig compared to other tracks.
Thanks for the fine work on this.

Thanks for all the comments and kind words.
It was a challenge to keep lag to a minimum with all the structures, plants, walls, and eye candy. But I think these were all needed to get the atmosphere and accuracy of the real course.
I agree that the course is a bit the same on every hole. It gets more interesting on the closing holes though. It also is a resort course and as the real is, fairly easy. It was designed to be played on Expert and Very dry greens.
There is very little information available on the Earth Course and even less on the sister courses. I did my best to make an accurate representation of the real deal. I guess we will see in a couple days when its on TV.

Compliments to the designer, who made the best off this uninspiring ambience. Yesterday I played a course where I became mad of all those trees; here I saw none; maybe the small bushes will be grown up in a few years. Being no cosmopolitan,I even don't like all those skyscraper backgrounds.. I could almost smell all those oil dollars... The course played too easy (-/- 16) to be competitive. Nevertheless: bullpupp2 is one of the master designers!

Just played the course for the first time and loved it. The pano is excellent as I can actually pick building landmarks such as Emirates Towers and the new Burj Dubai. Great job on the course layout and overall presentation. Hope you tackle the other Jumeirah Estate courses Fire, Water and when it opens Wind.
