Beautiful design, this is a really picturesque and enjoyable course. The layout is an inviting one - no real brain-strain here - and there's generally ample room for recovery so you can really go for your shots. It's fairly traditional stuff - being a good mix of straight, gentle and sharp dog-legs - but it never gets dull due to the intricate design and gorgeous scenery. I loved it - a real pleasure to play, superbly done, golfing bliss. Cheers!

Neil Munro did it again ! What a gorgeous course with nice textures used for the quarries to go along with beautiful plantings and a few lakes, here and there. On the front 9, the dogleg par-5 4th hole, with a quarry on the right side is nice but the par-3 5th hole is even prettier, with your tee shot flying over the quarry. Other holes worth mentioning are the left dogleg par-5 6th, with a downhill slope as you approach the green, the scenic par-4 7th, with a lake on the right side and quarries in front and on the left side of the fairway, and the par-3 8th hole with trees in the middle, a lake on the right and the green close to the lake. Coming back, I like the "cute" par-3 12th hole, not difficult but with its green nestled at a bottom of a high mound, the two par-5 11th and 14th holes, quite long, and the par-4 16th hole, straight but with mounds, left and right, in front of the green. As for the par-4 18th hole, you will enjoy the view of the nice clubhouse... As usual, another well-designed course from Neil Munro, very enjoyable and a definite keeper for its realistic look !

When I finished Neil's Boston course, thought I'd better give this one a go as I'd downloaded it ages ago & hadn't gotten around to playing it. I knew it was going to be good from earlier comments, plus the fact that it's Neil's. Have to agree with PhilT on the rating, although it's up to 4 now - still not enough. I just gave it 5*, but that didn't add any black to that last box. More than just a "goodie" Neil...

I never usually download fantasy courses, but in this case did, as real courses are becoming harder and harder to come by these days. Glad I did. Very nice layout, colours, elevations etc. The course has a real nice 'feel' to it. Difficult to achieve, I should imagine. Nice work. Very, very nice -;

Thanks for comments guys much appreciated.
Tripel I am very impressed that you know where Kingoodie is, very few people will ever have heard of it.
Taxi, I had a look at Cairdie but TBH unless I tricked it up a lot it would be far too short to pose any sort of a challenge I think. Also I only ever played it a couple of times so I'm not really familiar with it.

I expected a real course near Dundee (Scotland), but no, it's a fantasy course, but what kind of fantasy? Brilliant! Look at those trees, look at the colours, look at everthing. You'll get no headache will playing this course, so extremely nice experience being there!

Awesome job here Neil!Great terrain work and excellent planting.I really like how you planted the outer perimeters!That quarry is amazing...Lots of movement on this course.Hills and swales done very well.Truly felt like I was playing a real course..The clubhouse area was done in classic Munro style..Now time to crank up the breeze,and try to tame this beast...Thanks for a job well done!
