Do believe Jimbo63 mentioned in his course remarks to be careful regarding some of the greens. Well, if you happen to be lucky enough to avoid them, fine. But imho making a really great course, and then dinking it up with a few greens that are impossible to play if you end up in the wrong place, is sad.

A beautiful stroll through England’s countryside, with subtle elevations, plenty of slanted fairways, split with deep rough in between, and some slanted/sloped greens quite tricky at times. This par 70 starts with a dogleg par-4, bending sharply to the left and downhill all the way, and is followed by the short (less than 500 yards) and nice right dogleg par-5 2nd where, after seeing your uphill tee shot roll down the sloped fairway, you will have a very long and downhill second shot over plenty of trees if you want to reach its hidden slanted green. After the par-3 3rd hole, uphill all the way with a large pond on the left (in front of the tee box), and its pretty panoramic view, you will need to hit a blind and downhill tee shot on the left dogleg par-4 4th, with two big ponds on the left, one near the tee area and another one close, near the green, but both are not really water hazards. Then, after the par-3 5th hole, two short par-4 left doglegs follow with trees in the corner, making it impossible to reach the greens with your tee shots : if the 6th (about 330 yards) has a twisting fairway, not far from a small creek on the right (mostly hidden by trees), the 7th hole (about 340 yards) is prettier with its fairway ending in a “spoon-like” fashion, halfway, making your blind and steeply-uphill approach shot to the green, quite tricky with the creek real close on the right. The par-4 8th hole, on another hand, is uphill all the way with an undulating fairway quite narrow halfway, with a small pond in the middle and trees on both sides, and a sloped green, whereas the par-5 9th is a right dogleg, again uphill all the way, with deep rough splitting the fairways twice on the way to its large green, with some office buildings behind. On the back 9, I like the right dogleg par-4 11th hole, with a blind tee shot downhill to the fairway and another downhill shot to the green, the scenic but straight par-4 12th, downhill all the way with a meandering little creek on the right ending in a small pond on the left of the green and, to a lesser extent, the straight downhill par-4 13th hole, with a small pond across, in front of the green. The last three holes are quite nice : the par-4 16th is the right dogleg, with a heavily-slanted and undulating fairway on both sides and a blind uphill approach shot to the slanted green, the par-4 17th needs an uphill tee shot and a short approach to the slightly-downhill green, guarded by two big bunkers in front, and the par-3 18th hole has a small pond in front of the green to watch for. Well-designed as usual by Jimbo63, this course is tougher than it looks with its gentle elevation, undulating and twisting fairways and hard-to-read greens, but if you are patient enough and you don't try to hit longer-than-needed tee shots, you will definitely enjoy Denton Park !

Phew, man this is some course! It starts hard and just gets harder. The greens especially are penal and (played on dry settings) are hair-tearing tough. The layout is very nice, a lot of clever landing areas and some creative touches about. And the course looks terrific and plays smooth - top quality designing once again. For mine though I just found it all a wee bit too demanding.. kinda gave up even getting par by the end lol. That said, I'll be back to give it another whack, provided it's a drizzly ol' day - that'd be my only hope to tame those greens. Great work, cheers!

Jimbo, I know you're English, and this is probably a silly question, and you'll probably tell me it's a silly question, BUT... are you referring to Denton, Texas?

Many thanks for leaving a comment and to the guy who thought it sucked there is a simple solution, do not download any more of my courses, as I do not want to spend hundreds of hours of my time to receive totally unhelpful comments like this. If you have got something constructive to say fair enough, but a blanket criticism like this is not helpful.

Great course Jimbo. With all the undulations in the fairways and greens, use very dry at your own risk. The course is easy on the eyes but not on the score card. Thanks man.

There was a missing library: TPC at Sawgrass (07 version ). We added TPC at Sawgrass (07 version ) to the required library list now. BTW: Excellent course Jim.
