Gorgeous San Francisco panorama from rlslay and... gorgeous course from Jimbo63 !
Needless to say, you will be hitting a lot of powerful tee shots downhill, especially on the front 9, but that should not stop you for taking a few seconds to admire the breathtaking views from every hole.
This par 72 is awesome from the 1st tee to the 18th green with some risk/reward holes, such as the steep downhill par-4 2nd, reachable from the tee with a little luck, or the sloped fairway on the par-5 4th where the green, also with a small slope, is very close to a small pond. The par-3 5th hole is gorgeous too, as you will hit a blind tee shot downhill to reach the flag green, very close to another pond.
The par-4 6th and par-3 7th holes will give you a little relief as both holes are set on a plateau, unlike the par-5 8th hole, slightly downhill again and, the much tougher dogleg to the right par-5 9th hole, with its big sloped fairway.
The back 9 has less downhill holes but is gorgeous too, starting with the pretty view from the par-4 10th with a small hill on the left and plenty of trees on the right of a narrow and downhill fairway. After a nice downhill par-4 11th hole, again with a sloped fairway, the next par-4 12th, 13th and 14th holes are much flatter, with a breathtaking overview of the bay as you reach the green of the 14th hole.
The left dogleg par-4 15th is unusual as you will be teeing off... uphill before staring at a small lake on the left and the green further downhill. Then, after the long par-5 16th hole, you will reach the gorgeous downhill par-3 18th hole, with a big pond in front of the green and a beautiful clubhouse, where you will be able to decompress, admiring the nice villas around...
With great elevation work, beautiful tree and mountain colors, besides the gorgeous San Francisco bay, Jimbo63 has designed a masterpiece, one of the best courses around that you should hurry to discover !

Just been to San Francisco & was sure to wear some flowers in my hair. My timing was bad for everything else, too - what with Bullitt & Dirty Harry long gone, plus Starfleet Academy not having been built yet. That aside, loved the course Jimbo - told ya I was gunna have a go at another of your fantasy courses. Especially appreciated the fairway undulations, much like the Streets Of San Francisco...

Bay view is the only right name for this course; a course with nice elevations and San Francisco (?) in the background (I didn't discover Alcatraz).
