A pleasant and relatively easy course, with wide and heavily-slanted fairways, some holes with plenty of elevation and a few ditches across, often near the greens. After the left dogleg par-4 1st hole, I like the par-3 2nd, with a small pond and a bunker in front of the green on the left, the downhill par-4 3rd, with a big ditch, filled with a few bushes, across the fairway near the green, and the two right doglegs, the par-5 7th hole, with a heavily-slanted fairway, and the par-4 9th, with a slightly-uphill tee shot and a small ditch across, in front of the green. Coming back, oOn the left dogleg par-4 10th hole, you will need to hit your tee shot over deep rough to land on the other side of a hill, and follow up with an uphill tee shot to reach the green, whereas on the right dogleg par-5 13th, you will be faced with another heavily-slanted fairway with an uphill approach to the green, and another small ditch in front. Then, you will reach one of my favorite holes, the very scenic and short (about 315 yards) right dogleg par-4 15th, with a ditch cutting the fairway diagonally from the left midway through, before heading to the short (about 500 yards) par-5 16th hole, with a downhill tee shot, a slanted fairway with another ditch across not too far from the elevated green, and where you should be able to putt for an eagle. You will finish you round with the very pretty left dogleg par-4 18th hole, with a steep downhill tee shot over a few trees, with a nice meandering path to look at... Well-designed as usual by Tee Off Golf, Jay Peak Golf Course is not his most spectacular but it plays smoothly and, with its slanted fairways, you will need to hit good approach shots to the greens to finish with a low score.

Charming wee course in a peaceful setting, brought to life by a great design - looks and plays beautifully. A good challenge but not too demanding to get round in under par - the biggest test being the pin positions on difficult. Lots of fun, really enjoyed it. Cheers!

Beautiful course, sort of reminds me of the Kapalua Plantation Course, but a little more challenging. I just shot 73 and that was with a lot of 3 putts. The 6th hole was one of the few birdies I managed to get. Great job Tee Off, a keeper for sure.

golfmikelk; those are the settings I use also. could not get past 6th green. pin on knob at top of ridge and kept coming back to me if I didn't get it to the hole and rolling all the way across the green if I went past hole. I'm not a rookie at this and I'm not crazy. this green was and is unplayable for me.

nice looking golf course, however on very dry settings some of these greens are unplayable. the 6th comes to mind right off the top of my head. can't get ball close to hole as it keeps rolling back down past where you started from. took all the fun out of it for me. sorry!!!
