Loved this course and a top notch design, great to look at and play. Very nice layout with plenty of variety and a little eye-candy too - the 13th was lovely and the finishing holes were strong. Very enjoyable and it played beautifully (shader had to go down for me too but no probs). Cheers!

Very nice course to play as Whiffle56 did a great job, especially with the bunkers, much deeper near the greens. Smooth fairways, nice plantings and "cute" little bridges make this course very enjoyable too, even if it is not overly difficult. Starting with the par-4 1st hole, you get to see a little surprise as a... silo stands not far from the green and the small bridge. Other silos also appear on a few holes giving a nice farmland look to this course. Water comes in all kinds of shapes, ranging from small lakes to ponds and creeks (especially on the back 9). My favorite holes are the par-3 12th, the par-4 13th with the little creek running through and the nice green of the par-3 17th, surrounded by lots of flowers. A definite keeper for me, thanks to Whiffle56 !

tripel43, they are silos, and they are really there. The land was a farm before the course was built. People in East Tennessee just don't tear silos down. You can see them out in the middle of lakes in many places in East Tennessee. I know, us East Tennesseans are a breed all of our own.

Very nice looking course, rather easy to play (-/- 15), but I think that is due to my playing at easy settings (novice, nice weather etc.). The only dissonant was the bullit shaped tower I saw sometimes; it didn't fit in the landscape, but if the course is real, I think it must be there; please ask the course management to take it away. I didn't have problems with white boxes around the trees ( I sometimes do have those problems on other courses, but then the boxes are grey or black). My graphic card is an ATI Radeon; maybe that makes the differance. Thanks to you mr.Whiffle for your nice course! (rated four stars, in my opinion)

To give credit to Whiffle56 on his advice, yes turn down the graphics level on Nvidia cards a bit and the white boxes do go away.

Another great design. I didn't see the white boxes with my nividea card. Great views and playability on this open course. The textures worked well and contrasted the excellent designed traps. Thanks for the great design.

seems to me, even when we play tested it, that the only cards seeing the white boxes around the trees were the nvidea cards. None of the ATI were doing it. For the most part, I know people dont like hearing it, but if you turn down your graphics one notch, those boxes wont be there. All trees are from the Westchester library which is an 08. Thanks for your comments on this course.

Plays well but have to agree that the white boxes round some of the trees spoil the course.

I chomped at the bit when I saw this uploaded as it is just around the corner from where I live. Beautiful layout and course, but I could do without the white boxes around most of the trees. Plays great for me otherwise.

This is a nice course but I have one issue with it, the rough texture I have seen used on other courses and it ALWAYS gives a lag on my system also I think to a lesser degree the fareway texture. Danut golf uses these alot and all are very laggy, there are many other texture choices which look more natural and do not give the lag. I always have to tone down the options to medium a bit. But a great course but I wish those textures were not used on any course.
