Really enjoyed my round, possible because I was playing well. Course is challenging but fair, bounces are realistic, good or bad, and the course itself is nice to look at, with elevation, and challenging tee shots, and a fair number of possible landing places that require you to just chip out to a fairway, which is great. Thanks for the course, Danut Golf, and if you haven't played it yet, give it a go!

A gorgeous course from Danut Golf, and one of his best, with a beautiful hilly countryside, plenty of elevation, blind shots and water hazards, and looking quite realistic too for a... fantasy course ! This par 72 starts with the left dogleg par-4 1st hole, with a blind and downhill tee shot landing onto an undulating fairway between a creek coming to a fork across, and another blind shot to the downhill green, and is followed by the right dogleg par-4 2nd, with a big hill in the left corner and a big elongated bunker behind trees in the right corner ending to the right of the green. After the nice panoramic view as you reach the green of the par-3 3rd hole, you will face the left dogleg par-4 4th, with a slanted fairway and a u-shaped pond around the green, before heading for the nice par-5 5th hole, with a zigzagging fairway, an elongated lake on the left midway, and a blind and downhill approach shot over a few trees to reach the green, with a steep slope around. The right dogleg par-4 6th hole is quite scenic, with a downhill tee shot, a big hill on the left side and a small pond on the right of the slightly-downhill green, with houses around, just like the short (about 300 yards) par-4 8th, overlooking the valley below on the right as you reach the green, and where you should have an eagle opportunity. But my favorite hole is the superb (and risky) left dogleg par-5 9th, with a blind and downhill tee shot landing (depending of your club selection) short (or onto, with a lucky bounce) of a peninsula fairway in the middle of a big lake, and a long second shot over the lake to try to reach the wide green, way to the left, at the bottom of a big hill ! The back 9 has some very nice holes too, starting with the par-4 10th, with a downhill tee shot and an uphill approach shot to the green with a "y-shaped" pond, with the green in the middle, and continues with the par-4 11th, downhill all the way, with medium rough splitting the fairway halfway and a green, to the left, with houses on a hilltop on the left. Then, after the left dogleg par-4 12th hole, with a downhill tee shot landing near an elongated lake across the fairway halfway, and an uphill shot to the elevated green, you will reach another spectacular hole, the par-3 13th, with a blind and downhill tee shot and a great panoramic view as you reach the island green, with an elongated bunker behind. On the short (about 270 yards) par-4 14th hole, downhill to the green and slightly to the right, with small mounds around, you might have a chance to putt for an eagle before finishing with three beautiful and very tough holes, after the pretty but easy par-3 15th hole, with a bunker in a horseshoe-shape around the green. The par-5 16th hole is a right dogleg, with a blind and downhill tee shot, a big pond in the right corner midway (with houses around) and an uphill approach shot to the green, partially hidden by trees (and with deep rough in front), and is followed by another par-5, the 17th, a risk/reward hole with a downhill tee shot (hopefully) landing near a serpentine creek crossing the fairway from the left, running along on the right (with houses in front), then crossing back to the left in front of the green, slightly to the right ! YOu will finish with the short (about 360 yards) and gorgeous dogleg par-4 18th hole, with a downhill tee shot landing near a bunker in the right corner, with a wide lake on the left (making the fairway quite narrow) and an approach shot to the green over the water (with that "clubhouse/hotel", way to the left) ! Very picturesque and challenging, this Willamette National course is a pure delight to watch and play and, thanks to Danut Golf, a great one to keep...

taxi - did you give up? Or are you still having trouble? No one else has reported any problems, but I know they happen. Can you be more specific?
