Just like the Dothan National Golf Club, this course is also set in Dothan and, just like it, it has plenty of dogleg holes and quite a few tricky little mounds near the cups making putting quite tough, sometimes.
On the front 9, I like the par-4 1st hole with its... lone tree in the middle of the fairway, the sharp dogleg par-5 4th hole with a big lake on the left side, and the dogleg to the left par-4 9th hole and its gorgeous view of the flowers, bushes and clubhouse area.
The back 9 has some nice holes too, starting with the par-5 10th, with a river running across the fairway in the middle, the par-4 12th, a dogleg to the right, again with the river in the middle and, my favorite, the par-3 13th hole, with its very narrow tree-lined fairway and its beautiful view of the clubhouse.
The dogleg to the left par-4 16th hole is nice too with a tough approach shot to the small green, guarded by three bunkers, just like the dogleg to the right par-4 18th, where you will have one last chance to admire the nice clubhouse.
Overall, this well-designed course by willie, is fun to play and a nice change of scenery from the other one, that he also designed in Dothan...
