A very nice design with plenty of water hazards (lakes, ponds, streams) and a few holes where you will have to think twice about club selection if you don't want to get wet... With "cute" dice-shaped tee markers, nice plantings and quite a few small and different bridges, this par 72 looks nice and plays very smoothly. On the front 9, I like the right dogleg par-4 1st hole with a meandering stream cutting across the fairway and going to the right of the green, the par-5 6th, pretty straight with a big tree right in the middle of the fairway (and bunkers near the green), and the par-3 7th hole, quite scenic with a big lake and a nice house near the green on the other side. Coming back, the par-3 12th hole is beautiful with the green facing a small island with trees and flowers around, near the middle of the lake, just like the par-5 14th, quite scenic with two small lakes, one on the right next to the tee box, and the other one on the left of the green with that small island again to look at. With that island on the left side and a nice covered bridge on the right side, the par-3 15th hole is very picturesque as the green "stares" at you on the other side of the lake. As for the par-4 18th, it must be the "Memorial Lakes" hole, with no less than... 3 separate lakes on the right side and another one in front of the green ! As usual, PCDurum designed another beauty, while paying close attention to small details, and this course is another keeper in my book and, hopefully, will be in yours too...

A pearl of a design. Super layout, with challenge and variety throughout, and it definitely met the self-imposed standard. The greens will certainly keep you in check (slick!) but it's a great course to attack otherwise - fair and true all the way. Loved it, a PCDurum classic, just brilliant, cheers!

Played this vDry, Gusty, heavy, morning, difficult. Very pretty track, but practice your punch shots (or bring a chainsaw :) ), there are a lot of very strategically placed trees, and a crosswind the wrong way will make you think a lot (unless you can really work the ball, which I can't). I found no putting problems under the vdry conditions, although you can roll off the green if you charge a pin even slightly and miss. I recommend it.

Hi Rob,yes I rereleased it about 3 days after the first posting,I removed a big spike on the 5th green which really needed sorting but I also took the oppurtunity to do some more detailing mainly around the greens and moved a number of pins, updated it quite a bit really. I have updated the architect comments but I normally write such rubbish that I don't think anyone looks there!C: Im very pleased you like it and I value your opinion knowing well the great courses and panos you do so thankyou very much!C:

I am wondering if this is a re-released course as for it has only 330+ dls and is every bit a 4+ course rating. I was very suprised as i played the course and found all the textures matched with no oddities, as in a few of your past courses i have been bother with a texture that seemed out of place. All the little ponds and the stream made for a wonderful looking course. Bunker work was well done and the greens were tough but fair. Had just the right amount of trees and the planting made for natural setting. I had a very enjoyable round which seem to me was quick and interesting as that i was not always looking to see how much longer i had to play the course. I also could see alot of detail work that helps make the eye candy even better. Sometimes just the smallest things make the biggest difference. A couple of things that i always look for in a new course that turns me off is the gap between the plot and pano, which this course does not have. Building a hole to close the the edge of a plot as if the course is next to a endless cliff always bothers me and this course does not. And the last one is the gap between the course itself and the plot that is barren which always looks so unnatural, and there was only a few spot that i seen and could overlook. But i dont understand why designers seem to not be able to plant a group of trees here and there just to break that barren emptyness. I rate this course as a 4+ and give my thanks to you for this outstanding very playable course..Thanks
