Danut Golf is right : this par 73 is no pushover with its hilly layout, narrow fairways with a few trees, often in the way of your approach shots, not to mention a few well-placed water hazards and a couple of tricky greens !
Right off the bat, you will know what to expect with the nice right dogleg par-4 1st hole, with a slightly-elevated green and a couple of trees in the way, followed by the right dogleg par-4 3rd, with two uphill shots to reach the elevated green, partially hidden by trees.
On the dogleg par-4 4th hole, you will need to hit a downhill tee shot to reach the narrow fairway (with more trees in the way) and watch for a small pond below the elevated green, on the left side.
The very sharp right dogleg par-5 5th hole, with big trees on the right side (just right in front of the tee box), an undulated fairway and a downhill green, is quite tough, whereas, on the par-4 6th hole, you will have to think twice about club selection as it is quite short (less than 330 yards)... and nice with flowers in front of the tee area.
Two other standout holes are the uphill par-5 8th, with a creek running along on the left side all the way to the green (to the left), and with a blind second/approach shot, and the straight par-3 9th hole, with a green on a high hilltop and a big bunker below.
The first four holes on the back 9 are quite tough : the right dogleg par-4 10th, with trees in the way (in the corner), needs a blind second shot on a downward slope towards the green, (with a small lake behind to watch for), and the right dogleg par-4 11th hole has a meandering creek in the middle running on both sides of the fairway, and a small green slightly downhill.
The par-5 12th hole is quite long (more than 600 yards) with a blind tee shot over high rough downhill to the fairway, a big pond on the right midway and an elevated green with a few trees, partially hiding it, and is followed by the right dogleg par-4 13th, with a downhill tee shot, a slanted fairway and an elevated green.
Finally, as if you did not have enough challenges, you will finish your round with two par-5 holes : the left dogleg par-5 17th is downhill all the way, with a small pond, further below across the fairway midway through, and the right dogleg par-5 18th hole will require two uphill shots to reach the green !
Needless to say, you should not push your luck too often on this well-designed course by Danut Golf, if you don't want to pay it dearly ! And this why, Cascadia Hills is a keeper in my book...

Played this course with my usally setting with no problem with lag. Really liked the new texture library and want to thank you for sharing these new libraries with us. The course gave me a good challenge and i was really surprise on how well i enjoy playing even when my score was + par. This course lives up to your billing and should be download by anyone who wants something more than just the normal round of golf. Thanks again for your well design and top notch effort i've always enjoy in your courses.....****plus

If anyone experiences lag while playing, please turn your grass setting lower until your frame rates get better. I have a high end system and playing online was no problem, but playing offline with max graphic settings I got a fair amount of lag. I dropped my grass settings from very high to medium and the frame rates were good and the grass still looked very good as well. It was hard to see a degradation of grass quality between the two settings visually. Sorry for the issue, if you are affected by it.
