After the North course, this South version is on lower grounds, more inland and with less undulated fairways and elevation, but still has some challenging holes, with lots of pot bunkers to watch for, and a much more scenic back 9, with a few meandering creeks and cliffs to avoid. On the front 9, I like the right dogleg par-4 2nd hole, with the fairway hugging the cliffs on the right side, the par-3 4th, with the cliffs on the right and plenty of pot bunkers near the green, and the par-5 5th hole, with a downhill tee shot (with the ocean on the far right) and more pot bunkers around the slightly-elevated green, too far to reach on your second shot. The back 9 is prettier and tougher, starting with the right dogleg par-5 10th hole, with a second shot over a creek crossing the fairway, midway, and a slightly-downhill green, and continuing with the straight par-4 11th, with another second shot over the serpentine creek and a nice view of the ocean behind the green. If you enjoyed the creek, then you will love the scenic par-3 12th hole, with a downward slope and a tee shot flying over the creek... twice, before moving on to the left dogleg par-4 13th, very pretty with a downhill tee shot landing onto the fairway, hugging the coastline on the left, and with a nice lighthouse at the tip of the peninsula, on the left beyond the green. If the par-3 14th hole is quite picturesque, with a serpentine path on the left and the lighthouse, right behind the green, the left dogleg par-4 16th is nie too, with a blind tee shot over the cliffs and the wide sandy beach, and a blind and uphill second shot to the elevated green. You will then complete your round with the par-4 18th hole, not overly difficult but with an elevated green and a nice clubhouse behind... Even though this South course is pretty nice too, I prefer the North version, more challenging and scenic, but both are quite enjoyable (and definite keepers !), thanks to the great work done by PCDurum !

Except for some strange grey coloured close ups of the ocean (is this a mistake in the lay out of the course or is there something wrong with the graphics of my pc?) this really is A WORK OF ART!

Great job PC, I thoroughly enjoyed my round. Rolling fairways, good textures and well-constructed sea-side holes make this course a joy to play.
