Well, I am glad that I read the general info before playing this course as I was well-prepared to retrieve my errant shots in the water... with my swimsuit and goggles ! 55 ponds/lakes (!) are spread on this beautiful course, surrounded by small mountains, along with a few bunkers and high rough. With greens partially hidden by trees, sharp doglegs and a few blind shots, here and there, you will be faced with quite a few risk/reward shots on this par 72 course. All holes are very pretty, but my favorites are the par-5 4th, slightly curved to the left with a very tough approach shot over a big pond (hopefully) landing on its tiny green, and the "easy" par-3 9th hole, with its beautiful overview of the surroundings near the green. On the back 9, a few trees are partially hiding the green of the par-3 11th hole, making it interesting, just like on the approach shot of the par-4 15th hole. If the par-3 16th hole is easy, it is also gorgeous, with the green surrounded by water and its beautiful scenery all around. As for the left dogleg par-5 18th hole, it will test your accuracy, one last time, with a tough approach shot to the green. Overall, with its nice plantings (plenty of nice bushes) and water holes, this course is fun to play and delightful to watch, thanks to Jimbo's great work !

Played LAN on vDry, breezy, heavy, noon, easy: The "grip-it-and-rip-it" folks are not going to be happy here, I used a driver less than half the time. Not just because it is relatively short, but because the hazards are laid out so the risk of trying to carry them way out-weighs the reward. Reachable par fives, but not gimmies by any means. Very visually appealing course with greens that are puttable but not flat. I have never seen the real course, but this was real enough for me. I like a course that makes you think.

the water is controlled by the shader settings, if you set it to medium you will get the water in the screen shots

Great course and nice to play. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but The water is showing up in my game as un rendered. I have a plenty of RAM and a good graphics card. They must be rendered because they are showing up your screen shots. Any idea's?

Well- just looking at the pics- Hole 18 looks spot on but hole 11 has alot of elevation up to the green at least (15 yards elev) and the green slopes hard back toward the tee- it doesnt look like the real hole from the picture. You probably did the course from the card info- so I wouldn't expect much more. It's too bad - I wish I knew you were doing this I could have given you alot of details down to the inch. Thanks for the effort though.

Beautiful course, very scenic. Straight shots are a must or you'll be in the drink on most holes. It's challenging but fair. Thanks Jim, nice work.

Very nice job Jim, you make really nice bunkers. Your planting has really improved IMO..
I would have liked to see more hilly terrain for this course, but I know that there are issues with so many lakes/ponds and having a non-flat plot.. The water features turned well.
Keep up the very good work, was very fun to test and play..
