With bottles of Jack Daniels as tee markers, this course might be the only one where, at the end of your round, you might not be able to remember your score ! This par 73 course is simpy gorgeous with a nice mountain panorama, beautiful plantings and plenty of... water to keep you on your toes, should you decide to go for broke on a few risk/reward holes. It starts with the beautiful dogleg par-4 1st hole, with a big lake on the left side, and continues with the left dogleg par-5 4th, very scenic with a meandering creek and small rocks in, and around, the creek and the fairway. That meandering creek flows again on the par-4 5th hole, potentially reachable from the tee box and visually stunning with a big rock near the green and a very nice mill behind... After the par-4 7th hole, quite pretty with a small lake in front of the green, you will see on the slightly downhill par-4 8th hole... dead trees on the left side of the green and, again, near the right side of the green (with deep weed around them) on the very scenic right dogleg par-4 9th hole ! The back 9 has some pretty holes too, starting with the par-4 10th, where a thin patch of land separates two lakes and where the green is guarded by a few bunkers. another unusual hole is the par-3 13th, not difficult but quite picturesque with three terraced bunkers... If the left dogleg par-4 16th hole is nice with a lake in front and bunkers on the left side of the fairway, i prefer the last two holes : the very long par-5 17th has a lake on the right side and another one in front of the green, whereas the right dogleg par-4 18th is beautiful with its nice covered bridge linking the fairway and the green. Superbly designed by pcdurum, this course also has a real look to it and definitely ranks as a masterpiece. But, if you are not convinced yet, just read the comments below from some of the top designers...
P.S. Has anybody seen my tee markers ?

Great course - could very well pass for a real course. Nice mountain backdrop. Excellent opening hole! Plays a bit easy in normal shot 63 - would play much harder I`m sure in gusty or breeze with the way course is laid out. Nice planting. Enjoyed my round. I will be back for a go in breeze or maybe in windy when I think I can take it on. Thank you for sharing this one.

I really enjoy my rounds on this course. The course itself match the pano and gave me the feel of being on a TN. golf course. Good job with the textures as they blended together very well. The creek on hole 4 which lead to the mill on 5 was a outstanding job. With the rocks and the patch of dead trees added something extra to the course itself. Nice job on the bunkers and the water. Excellent planting that matched the deep rough. I really like your greens layout. The plot was full and played smooth. The closing hole was super. This was another course where time seem to speed by, even after playing a few rounds back to back. Nice detail work with this course and is a keeper for sure. Thanks for your effort.....Outstanding

Gave this 5 without hesitation. Beautifully crafted, of very high quality. Lagged a little but I reduced my grass setting and that sorted it. Thank you.

What a beautiful course! Even the dead trees are beautiful! Maybe slightly easy to play, specially drinking a whisky (as you can see I prefer Scotch to Bourbon). And tell me mr Bullpupp2, how much did Jack Daniels pay you for the advertisement? Never mind; thank you for the nice course.

From the JD tees to the stunning and varied bunkering this course oozes class and demands you to think and plot your way round although its very fair and offers plenty of birdies.I aced the 13th, 7iron on the fly! I also eagled the 16th but still finished +3 due to my woeful consistency! Theres even a little Mill race iff you can spot it! An absolute gem! Thankyou Bill! C:

Wow...what an incredible design! The creative skills used here are amazing! From the textures to the elevation work..top notch! The mill gives the course a real southern feel...The path work is exceptional..The rock placements, the carefully laid out trees and plantings, the use of the dead trees, the joint green all add to the atmosphere of what a course design should be!..I only hope I put the tee markers back in the right place..as I took a swig or three from time to time....lol...An Instant Classic Pup...Thank You...
