After playing this today it's no surprise to see so many positive comments.. this is really top shelf designing - simply brilliant. Tons of detail, every hole a picture, and it all comes together beautifully. Even the bird sounds were like honey. I played it at sunset (after reading the spiel) and it was just postcard-perfect. Doesn't get any better than this, cheers!

I should have known better... When I download a course, I don't look to see who designed it It's only after finishing my round that I take a look and, this time, what a "surprise" : another gorgeous course from rlslay (LOL) ! As expected, water comes into play on many holes (the first 3, the 5th, the 10th, to name a few) and after hitting shots a little more inland, you are not prepared for what hits you when you reach the 13th hole : a stunning par-3 with a view of the marsh and the lagoon ! Simply superb... The 14th is equally beautiful, a par-4 dogleg and the last 3 holes are very nice too with a magnificent clubhouse where you should stay after finishing your round... Hurry to download this course, you won't regret it (and I am saying that even though the water looks grainy on my PC ! But I am sure that for those of you who are playing TW08, it will be a... mouth-watering experience !).

An absolute pleasure to view & to play. Ditto Jimbo's comment re detail in the marsh & water areas of holes 13 & 14 - it's a real eye-opener when you hit Find Flag on the 13th tee. Yet another course from Rob which has the WOW factor...

Forgetting any negative comments is the way to go on this. I think this is one of the best designer courses I have played. And that includes both real and fantasy. I have never played the course in real life, so don't care if it is off a little. This will remain one of my favorite courses... Absolutely, positively, a keeper for sure!

I enjoyed this course as I have the many others that you have shared with us. Fairways and greens play smoothly. Please do not let comments by another designer prohibate you from creating more. You deserve better than that!

I am sorry if the course is not exactly as it is in real life. I used all the pictures and info i could find and used goggle overhead to plot it out. I've tried my hardest on all my courses to make them as close as possible to real life but, without ever being to any of them, i can only use my best judgement of what kind of tree, plant, grass, water and structures to use. Or do i catch every little things that is wrong as in a flag being backwards. I wished i would have know these details about mounds, massive hills and planting before i finish so i could corrected them, sometimes pictures dont speak a 1000 words. I am not perfect or expert on designs and have made my fair share of mistakes on courses. I'm not going to ever make the perfect real course, because this is just a game, which simulate real golf. What i do is make them as close as i can for my enjoy and share them with others if they choose to play them. Thanks to all who have left any comments, good or bad....rob

I have played this course, I don't know 30 times, just from the pictures; it really doesn't look like long cove. Right now I don't even have TW installed. So I can't really comment on the way it plays. The deep rough effect is nice, however it is not true to the course. Hole 5, is actually a horrible hole in real life, maybe they re-did it. You hit like a 3 iron and then the 2nd shot is up over a massive hill which you can't see the green at all. Some of the holes on this course have massive mounding. The planting on this course should also be a tad different. The northern pines don't fit the landscape, something in the TPC Sawgrass lib, what I call the Augusta Pines would help in getting the planting closer. The hole on the back 9 on the inner harbor looks pretty nice; the green is angled correct.

Fabulous rendition, Long Cove for TW 06 was one of my favourite courses but this one definitely tops it. I especially like the back drop of thick trees which gives the course an even more realistic look. I did find the course very tough especially the deep rough where it seemed impossible to chip or flop out of. Scored my highest round of the year on this one. Look forward to your next effort though.

Lovely course not easy and the rough is not to be messed with! smooth running?...no not for me I had bad lag and had to tone the Gfx card a bit (Nvidea9400GT,Quad core and 4gig ram.) Only one mistake you made on this course....you hung the aussie flag from the wrong end!...
