Even though this is a fantasy course, it does not look like one and resembles, at times, the real one in Lake Powell, Florida, thanks to Tee Off Golf’s nice design. With its small wooded mountains as a panorama (nice job for your first one !), this course is very pleasant to play and looks easy with its wide fairways and pretty lakes, but you will have to be careful to avoid the waste areas and/or bunkers spread along and near some of the undulating and sloping greens, which can also be quite tricky. After a nice par-4 1st hole, slightly to the right, with a big waste area on the left side, not far from the green, I like the par-3 2nd, with deep rough between the tee area and the green, and a nice panoramic view of a lake further behind, and the straight par-5 3rd hole, with a tee shot over a big lake landing on a wide tree-lined fairway, and a few bunkers in front of the green. But my favorite holes are yet to come… The par-3 5th (seen on the illustrating picture) is quite scenic with its elevated green set on a plateau above the lake with a big bunker along the fairway, not too far from it, and the dogleg par-5 6th is nice too with a big lake on the left side, with another waste area filled with dirt and grass on the left, near the tee, and deep rough further to the right. The par-4 8th hole is beautiful too, with plenty of sand all along the fairway on the left side, a little creek bending to the right... on the right in front of the tee box, and a few small bunkers, not too far from the green. On the back 9, I like the scenic par-3 11th hole, with plenty of deep rough all the way to the green and a round wasteland on the left side in front of it, the par-5 13th, with a big lake all along on the right side and a green, slightly to the right, and the similar par-4 15th, with two big bunkers in front of the green, on both sides. On the par-5 17th hole, after a slightly-downhill tee shot, landing near another big waste area on the left side, you will need to hit a long approach shot to reach the elevated green, while making sure to avoid two big bunkers at the bottom of the slope, before heading for the par-4 18th hole where, after a downhill tee shot, you will be able to relax at the pretty clubhouse behind the green. As you might have already guessed, the real Sharks Tooth GC was designed by the Australian... shark himself, Greg Norman, and, even though its bite is not too tough, Tee Off Golf has come up with a nice (fantasy) rendition, well worth playing and... keeping !
