Your mission, should you choose or decide to accept to play this course, is to avoid hitting those big bunkers... in the middle of the fairways (as you will discover on the 14th and 16th holes) ! As always, should you or any or anyone else be caught in, we will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This warning will not self-destruct (LOL) ! No, this course is not mission impossible for you, but you will see a lot of bunkers except for the first two holes. But the par-3 3rd hole will give you an idea of what ron717 had in store for you, just like the par-4 5th hole with water and bunkers on the right side and heavy rough on the left. Another nice course, not the most spectacular but a little bit different from others... Have fun !

I don't want to take away from this outstanding effort, but it seems that local knowledge could be put to use on this course. It looks good and plays well. Some if the things brought out by Nigel would make this even better than it is. I was watching the senior open this morning and the first thing that really jumped out is the lack of the dead fescue grass that is on most of the course. Another outstanding course to play Ron. Thank you!!

PhilT To answer your question on the accuracy, Ron717's effort is way out. Ron if you want some help, advice and photographs, I live within a few miles of the course and assisted Goran Mentzers superb design of Sunningdale for JN6. I cannot critise any designer for their efforts as I would not know where to start, but it will be obvious to those that know and love Sunningdale as I do, that there are some elevation and graphical differences to Ron's design which possibly has been taken from a course planner. For instance The 7th tee shot is blind as the fairway is higher than the tee and you cannot see it as you drive. The 13th Par 3 is a very steep downhiller with a roadway that runs along the right side of the green and also crosses the 2nd fairway. There is a gorse mound that runs across the first and a Sausage Sandwich cafe that sits behind the 10th green and many, many more. If Ron would like to make the course as accurate as possible I would be happy to supply the local knowledge and photographs and would be delighted if he contacts me through the usual channels. Anyway Thanks Ron for submitting the course as I have waited so long to play this on TW and it has a good feel to it.
