With gentle rolling hills as a panorama, sparse plantings, wide-open fairways and a few water hazards, especially on the back 9, this par 72 plays smoothly, even though it is not too challenging. The first three holes are similar left doglegs, with the par-5 1st, facing a big hill, being the nicest. If the par-4 4th hole is a right dogleg, with a big bunker on the right with patches of grass in between and a small lake to the right of the green, I prefer the straight and picturesque par-3 6th hole, with a tee shot flying above a few tiny islands and landing on a peninsula green. The par-5 7th hole, on another hand, has a fairway next to a lake on the left and an approach shot over it to reach the green on the left, whereas the par-3 8th has a small pond across in front of the green. On the back 9, I like the right dogleg par-4 11th hole, with a little bridge over a pond midway on the right, and a downhill (and blind) approach shot to the green, with a few trees in front, and the scenic par-3 13th, with a tee shot over a wide lake and a nice little fence in front of trees behind the small green. Then, after the short left dogleg par-4 14th hole, with another nice bunker with grass in between (in the corner), I like the dogleg par-5 15th, which follows the lake bending to the right, then ending behind the green. The next two holes are quite nice : the par-4 16th is a right dogleg, with a little creek running to the right of the fairway (at the bottom of a small hill) and then crossing in front of the green, surrounded by beautiful flowers, and the par-3 17th hole has a little creek in front of the green and a very nice Stonebridge display behind it (as shown on the gallery picture) ! While Stonebridge Golf Links is well designed (with some nice-looking bunkers), thanks to PdLegend, it is not your typical links course annd you should score well while enjoying your stroll in England's countryside...

What a course, well made and sweet playing. Really enjoyed the water holes 6 and 13 looks as real as can be. Very smooth playing and on the eyes. Like those ribbed bunkers, very cool looking. Keep up the Great work PdLegend a must download, thanks for this release....rlslay

Sweet job Chad, my fav was the 13th super hole! Nice fairway work and the greens were done very well. The water work is very well done too.
Couple of things: There is water spray from a waterfall/fountain just off the first tee but no fountain, maybe that was in the cls? The overhead map is cutoff somewhat on the 16th. Also I think if you made the cart paths smoother and without the sharp angles it would improve the overall look.
This is very nice track, played smooth with no lag. I very much recommend it. Very fun course!!
Thanks for all the hard work Chad. Axe...

Course played extremely smoothly. I have an onboard graphics chip (Radeon X1250) which is not very powerful. Whenever any courses stutter graphically I turn down the screen resolution and the course always seems to play better.
