This time, a lot of people turned out at... Turning Stone Resort and the reason is simple : this course is very nice indeed !
Thanks to willie, it plays very smoothly surrounded by the lakes. Quite a few holes deserve to be mentioned : on the front 9, the par-3 3rd with the green close to the water, the par-5 5th, a big dogleg next to the lake and the beautiful par-4 9th hole with the view of the clubhouse.
On the back 9, there are a lot of nice holes too, starting with the par-3 11th, with a house very close to the green (don't forget to close the shutters !) and the par-5 12th hole with a very elevated green and water to the right. If you add the two par-4 13th and 15th and the par-3 16th with beautiful flowers, you can really enjoy the view of the par-5 18th with the clubhouse and those big flags blowing in the wind and try to get to the green on your second shot.
A great course and a definite keeper for me. Thank you, willie !
