Very interesting course where the landscape is nicer than the wooded panorama... This par 73 has quite a few elevation changes, very nice plantings (with colorful flowers) and quite a few water hazards and well-placed bunkers that will keep you on your toes on quite a few holes. After a right dogleg par-4 1st hole, with a downhill tee shot and an uphill approach shot to the green, the par-3 2nd, while not being overly difficult, is quite nice with a tee shot over a small lake and flowers around the green. Then, after the right dogleg par-4 3rd hole, with its steep uphill shot to the green, you will reach one of my favorite holes, the long par-5 4th, with a river on the left side of the fairway and where you will have a very tough and long approach shot trying to reach the green, across the river to the left... The scenery changes drastically with the pretty left dogleg par-4 6th hole, with a tee shot over a ravine with a small river below and some big rocks across, and the sharp dogleg par-5 7th, with two lakes to the left, near the tee box and near the green. As for the short (less than 350 yards) dogleg par-4 8th hole, it is a little bit tricky with a wide bunker in front of a big pond and more bunkers to the right of the green, with nice colorful flowers behind, to the left. On the back 9, I like the picturesque par-3 11th hole, with a tee shot over a small elongated lake, with bunkers on the left side and nice flowers on the right, and the downhill par-5 13th, with three big bunkers along the way, the last one, right in front of the small green to the left, next to a big pond. While the par-4 14th hole is relatively "easy", it is pretty with nice bushes and flowers on both sides of the rollercoaster fairway and a green, slightly to the right, but not as challenging as the 16th and 18th holes. The dogleg par-4 16th follows the river to the left and you can land your tee shot either to the left or to the right of the river, whereas the left dogleg par-5 18th hole is simply gorgeous : with flowers in the middle of a meandering river flowing from the left (near the tee box) to the right, then back to the left before crossing in front of the green, you will sweat twice hoping your tee shot and your approach shot won't end up in the water... Alan Portway designed a course that is quite testing, at times, with a few risk/reward holes and he should be commended for his nice work, considering that this was only his third creation...

normzindagame - Thanks for the offer but I prefer to work solo. I have started on my next course (unnamed at the moment) which is situated on a island.

I will begin by stating that I didn't download fantasy courses until now. The water placement through out the course is great, and when you least expect it color is everywhere. This is a keeper for sure. Great job and hope to see more of your work. Quality piece!

This one is probably going in my folder named "TW08 Courses CULT status" not many in that folder but got to be up there with the best, not an easy course so many people at the moment are designing these elevated greens...I cannot play them! lol but lovely course, the choice of Birdsong is superb, look forward to your next xourse and thanks for this one...maybe one I will be able to play it!

Thanks for having eleven pictures including a map in the photo gallery.,very helpful. A very good course seeing that it is only your third course. The planting was good except perhaps that the flowers were overused. Liked the 10th hole both graphicly and also that the slopes were guiding the golfball into difficult places. Sorry to say that the course crashed on the16th. Thanks for an otherwise nice course and I hope any problems get sorted.
