If you want to have a challenging round of golf while enjoying beautiful views, you should take a look at this par 72 course : with its rollercoaster fairways, blind shots (downhill and/or uphill), water hazards, and its strategically-placed trees and bunkers near the greens, you will definitely have your hands full all the way until the 18th green. After a beautiful opening par-4 hole, with an uphill tee shot flying above a rollercoaster fairway (and along a serpentine river on the right), and a downhill second shot toward the green (with a big lake to the left, and behind), you will move on to the "scary" par-5 2nd where, despite its narrow fairway and elongated bunkers (lined up on both sides), you should be able to hit a blind and downhill tee shot with your driver, past the lake across the fairway midway, in order to have a golden opportunity for an eagle putt. Then, after hitting another blind tee shot over the water on the par-3 hole, toward its green, partially hidden by a couple of trees, you will move on to the right dogleg par-5 4th, whose fairway is hugging a winding river, with a big bunker behind a few trees (around the corner) and more pot bunkers spread along before hitting your approach in the direction of the steeply-elevated green, unlike on the pretty, but easier par-3 5th where, despite a tee shot flying above a serpentine river (with a nice panoramic view as a bonus), you should be able to putt for a birdie. Another gorgeous hole is the par-3 7th, with a huge sandy area, filled with trees on both sides, making the fairway quite narrow as you hit your tee shot toward the green, surrounded by more... sand (with nice views of a lake and small buildings behind). The right dogleg par-4 8th hole is not to be overlooked either, as it is uphill all the way, with a big elongated bunker on the left and trees on the right (around the corner), making the fairway quite narrow... As for the long and steeply-uphill par-5 9th hole, you will have to sweat it out as you watch your tee shot fly above the river, across the fairway, midway, and land beyond a big u-shaped bunker behind it, before hitting a blind second shot to get close to the green (with a big lake on the left to watch for). The back 9 is even more challenging, starting with the gorgeous left dogleg par-5 10th hole, with a blind and uphill tee shot over trees and elongated bunkers, landing short of a lake, over which you will have to hit your approach to reach the downhill green. Two right doglegs follow, with the pretty par-4 11th, with another tee shot over a lake, flying past deep rough and trees, and the par-5 12th, with a tee shot over an elongated lake (and with a... river winding its way across the fairway, a little bit further), offering you another chance for an eagle. Then, after the scenic par-3 13th hole, with an uphill tee shot above a lake (and a nice panoramic view as you reach the green), you will head on for another par-3 hole, the 14th, easier despite another tee shot above the water. Another uphill (but blind) tee shot awaits you on the nice right dogleg par-4 15th hole, landing downward next to a wide lake (on the left) onto a narrow fairway, filled with a few pot bunkers, before hitting an uphill approach to its elevated green. Smoke will be coming out of your head as you play the last three holes : on the left dogleg par-4 16th, uphill all the way, you will have to land your tee shot next to a lone tree (in the middle of the fairway), above and on the edge of a winding river, crossing the fairway below, before hitting a steeply-uphill and blind approach to the green, then walking over to the pretty par-3 17th hole, and hitting another blind tee shot above the river, crossing the fairway, two-thirds of the way. If you still have some energy left, the very long and spectacular par-5 18th hole will drain it out, with its serpentine fairway, its lake, midway on the left, and its green, set on a high plateau (with tennis courts behind), impossible to reach on your second shot... Needless to say, with its nice plantings, steep elevation changes, water hazards hard to avoid, just like its elongated bunkers, you will need to have the eyes of an eagle if you want to break par on this...
