Eternal debate, sometimes, as to whether a course is real or not... If it seems there is no Crowley Lake Golf Club per se, there are two courses (Sierra Star and Snow Creek) that appear when you type in the name on Internet. But, no matter what course it is (even though we would like to know !), this par-70 is a beauty with a very interesting layout, and one of the bery best designed by willie. With water hazards, narrow fairways, doglegs and, sometimes, small greens, you will have your hands full trying to come up with the best club selection. There are quite a few nice holes on the front 9, starting with the par-4 1st, a dogleg to the right with a big... sailboat docked on the right. The par-3 4th is nice too with its bottleneck fairway, but the par-3 is even nicer - and tougher - with its very narrow green with water on the left side. The par-4 6th and the par-4 9th, will need you to tee off over the water, my preference going to the latter for the trees bordering the lake and the very nice view of the big mansions around the green. There are, however, two little bugs on the front 9 : on the par-5 5th hole, there are... people facing you as you tee off, so you better check your life insurance coverage ! And on the par-3 7th hole, as mentioned in another comment, there is a big ledge near the cup on the green : intentional or not, it makes your putt very tricky... Holes are pretty straight on the back 9 until you reach the par-4 15th, a dogleg to the right with water to the left. The par-3 16th will give another opportunity to see that beautiful sailboat until you reach the very scenic par-4 18th to finish your round. With the nice mountains as a backdrop, this course is a definite keeper for me and, I hope, for you too !

I would label this one as a fantasy course because after almost 4 years after being uploaded, there is still no information available on this specific course name - not even a home page!
The "preferred" city according to the postal service is Mammoth Lakes, and the census bureau labels Crowley Lake as a census designated place - it's not even a village.

Very nice course, narrow fairways and very fair greens with enough hazards to keep you on your toes. You can see that there was alot of time and effort put into this one, with excellent results. Great job Willie!
