As mentioned by Holein 1, the front 9 look and play well , sadly let down by the back 9 it was like the designer never got to finish off that 9 shame as could of been a much better layout.

Boy, what a tough course, especially on the back 9 ! What started as a nice, pleasant golfing stroll through the Normandy countryside almost turned into a nightmare from the 10th to the 13th holes included, with slanted fairways and unreal (?) slopey greens. This par-72 course has very bare surroundings and the fairways are pretty hard to see from the tee. If on the front 9, you can get away with it, it's another story on the back 9 with those above-mentioned... dreaded greens ! After an uphill start on the dogleg to the left par-5 1st hole, I like the par-3 4th hole with the flag in the shade next to the lone trees around the green. The last two holes, the par-4 8th and par-5 9th, are nice with tee shots flying over the trees. Then the nightmare starts... At first, the par-5 10th hole looks pretty nice until you see the... slopey green far away ! I tried to hit my approach shot above the pin but my ball still rolled back all the way down to the edge of the green, leaving me with a tough uphill putt. If the par-3 11th hole is beautiful with its narrow flat green on the very steep hill, there seems to be a displaying bug on the tee of the par-4 12th hole as Tiger Woods appears slightly from above, which makes it impossible to see the gorgeous fairway in the valley ! I tried every key possible to change its tee position in vain... The par-3 13th, with its bare look, is almost impossible to play as the ball keeps rolling back on the slopey green. Fortunately, the uphill par-4 14th hole along with the par-5 16th and 17th holes, will reconcile you with golf, just like the par-4 18th, with its nice blind tee shot over the trees. But, for the time being, I am sorry to say that I would rather walk on the Planches de Deauville until these few little bugs are corrected in an updated version... which would do justice to this course, well designed by Tim Leonard.

I liked the layout, But on A few holes the greens had such A slope the ball would not hold with normal greens.
