Edit: Just went back & look at the ruff texture again, and I think I have more a problem with how the game renders textures from a distance. Up close where you are at, it looks cool, but looking at textures from a distance, it makes them not look like they do up close. Total different looking color it is, and not sure what someone could do about all that. Don't know, and this is why I don't think I'm experienced enough to give input to help out designers.

Love Link style courses, and I wanted to play this course since seeing the cool PDF guide in the forums, but I accidentally lost all my downloaded courses when trying to save them to my HD. Almost forgot about this couse with all that happening, but glad I remember it this morning when wanting to find a course to warm up on for the Clam tour. We play tuff conditions on the Clam tour, and this course was a tuff track with these conditions. Gusty winds, light ruff, easy pins, and pro tees. Plus you could find yourself 3 putting real quick if approach shot was in bad spot on green, and I even almost 4 putted once....... LOL Almost every hazard came into play with my shots I had to think over, which is good play for me when I have to manage a course. There where some cool touches like the U bunker with lake backdrop(7th hole), Island green surrounded by sand, and the 18th hole was just plain neat while at the same time made me think real hard how I wanted to attack the hole. Was freaking out thinking I might not hit it far enough causing my ball to roll back into the creek, but I hit it over the green. Then was left staring down a pitch shot with the major hill behind the pin..... :O There are so many cool courses here that I probably could play until 70-80 yrs old, and not get tried of it all, to tell ya the truth.
Only thing that I could add for constructive criticism is I didn't really care for the ruff color, but my opinion is just that, a opinion. Oh yeah, there was a sand bunker (just flat shape) that wasn't sunk into the ground on the 11th hole fairway. It;s right before the fairway bunker in the fairway itself, and I think when my tee shot landed on the fairway/sand flat bunker, it didn't bounce like sand texture at all. Only time it kinda lag for me was on the 1st hole, and then after that, the course played pretty smooth, and nothing happened that took away from my game-play experience at all. Nice time I had playing on this course indeed.
Thanks for you time while making this course Squirrely

No problems on lag or graphics. At breezy and dry greens this is the hardest course I have played. Most golfers like a challenge and they wont be let down here. I managed to miss at least half the fairways and as my putting is not good, had a real lesson on the greens. A cleverley designed course. Look forward to your next Bobby.

Great Piece Of Work, No lag For Me. To Me The textures Were Outstanding. One Beast Of A Course. Real Tough. Logo and Flag were awesome. Can't Wait For Cantebury

The textures were from Shinnecock Hills 07. Lag was one thing I was a bit concerned with...

Well made, but I was not quite convinced on the texture choice, I think the fairway and green textures were on the old Carnoustie 2005 course? tjhe textures do not go wel together, also a bit laggy I had to cut down on the graphics a bit. I think its the Gorse bush texture its quite high poly I have quad core pentium and 4gigs of ram with a 500mb card, but it ran a bit slow. Also had a few black buildings that I could not render, that might be a graphics setting or maybe the object?
