Well, this is one of theses courses that you love to discover. If visually, it is very... bare (hardly any trees at all !), it is not a links course by any means. On this flat landcape, you will be faced with giant & waste bunkers and some pretty tough flag placements (should you decide to go with difficult ones). Quite a few holes have greens almost isolated (6th, 8th) but the signature hole on this course is the par-15 15th where it is really on an island ! A course that is fun to play and to keep for a different golfing experience...

I almost thought I was at home in Holland: totally flat landscape and even less trees than where I live. Fortunately it was not raining. Played smoothly, but compared with many other TW courses, this one is certainly not the best. Nevertheless thanks to the designer.

Thanks Steven for another well designed and enjoyable course.
When I see negative comments like 13missup, I realise that these sort of people exist to be negative and its reflect their personality and lack of self esteem!
Cheers Brian

Thanks for the kind words 13missup. I greatly value the opinion of one such as yourself who has been a member of this site for almost 6 months. And I really look forward to seeing your releases so I may learn from them. However, I looked but did not see any under your name. Perhaps you release them under a different name? The reason I ask is because the last time I had anyone comment on one of my courses as fluidly and eloquently as you have was the first time I released this course for the 06 version of Tiger Woods. At that time the person commenting was found to be a disgruntled designer who thought he would use a fairly new online persona to do so. You wouldn't know that person, would you?
In all honesty, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I would also say that I am willing to refund your download charges - oops - forgot there are none. So I guess you also wouldn't cherish me sending you an autograph, either? Take care, and next time I do this course, if I can ever get over the shock of the rejection, I will be sure to check with you before releasing it.
Thanks again,
Steve

I agree with you jmeier, I for the most part love the effort put forth by the designers on here, and I didn't want to be the first one to question a member from Canada about his knowledge in regards to a course in Louisiana.

Apparently, you must have alot more info on the elevations of these greens than the designer did. I just compared the greens on the back nine to tour photos I have of the last HP New Orleans Classic (2006). They seemed to match fairly well to me. The course itself overall does not have a whole lot of visual appeal(the real course). I would say the designer did a very good job of recreating the course for the game. I would say this is far from the embryonic stage. I have seen far worse courses than this on here. I would have to say it is a job well done. Not a big fan of the textures, but that is my opinion, and the designer always chooses the textures they feel best reflect the course. That in no way takes away from the work on this course.

Hey Danut, Nice work on this one. Before I figured out how to use the terrain assist program the right way I attempted this course. It ended up becoming something way different than the actual course. I really like how this came together. Good feel and flow. the inspiration I had became one of my earlier releases called Manu Lynx.
I enjoyed this, good use of sounds and plantings.
