A nice course, with tree-lined fairways and a wide lake, around which you will play quite a few holes before putting on a couple of tricky greens, set next to the water. Not surprisingly, after the nice downhill par-3 2nd hole and its slanted green, the most scenic holes are the ones where water comes into play, such as the pretty left dogleg par-4 3rd, with a few small lake islands in the middle of the wide lake (in the corner) and a small stream running past the green (on the right), and the left dogleg par-4 4th, with trees on the left of the fairway and another stream all along (on the right) ending near the green, surrounded by a few bunkers. But my favorite hole on the front 9 is the gorgeous dogleg par-4 6th, bending sharply to the left around the wide lake (and its wooded islands), with a risky approach to its small green, set near the edge. Another risky shot awaits you on the short right dogleg par-5 8th hole where, after hitting a slightly-downhill tee shot, you will need to hit a blind and risky approach upward to the green, again on the edge of the lake. Coming back, you will face more water holes, starting with the left dogleg par-4 11th, with the lake around the corner and a delicate approach over it to get to the green, and the straight par-4 13th, with a second shot over a small lake (in front and to the right of the green). Then, after the par-3 14th hole and the right dogleg par-4 15th, with elongated bunkers in front on both sides of the greens, you won’t be out of the... woods, yet, with the right dogleg par-4 16th, with a tough approach toward the green with water on both sides (linked by a little stream in front of the green), the pretty par-3 17th, with a slightly-downhill tee shot over a small lake diagonally in front of the small green, and the right dogleg par-4 18th, with a second shot over part of the lake (on the right) and with bunkers to watch for on the left side of the green. If I agree with putt’s comments that the rock bordering the lake islands are not the prettiest ever, this par 70, designed by onlcky173, is, nevertheless, quite pretty all the way around, enough so that you won’t get lost in the woods...

This is a good course, but could have been much better with some testing and attention.

An enjoyable course that is full of the fruits of cyber toil. The rock shelf around the lake islands did not look at all good. The area of the course which is the 16th green and the 17th tee is very attractive. Download this course and see for yourself the good qualities of the course.

I am going to stick my neck out here, and say this course is "CULT" status got to be up there with Valhalla course, Carnoustie, Lock lomond 5 stars. To my untrained eye this is hall of fame material.

This is a very good course well worth the download. The use of some of the newer rough libraries helps a lot to diminish the abrupt seam effect as you go from fairway to rough to deep rough. Good detail work. My only thought for improvement would be to change or eliminate the thin dark green boundry around the edge of the fairway or at least lighten it to a color closer to the fairway. It looks a little artificial to my eye. Everything else is wonderful.
