What a nice heritage to leave for all of us to enjoy ! This par 71 is beautiful with a partially-wooded mountain panorama, sparsely-planted tall and thin trees, plenty of water (especially on the back 9) and quite a few rollercoaster doglegs to keep you on your toes. On the front 9, I like the left dogleg par-5 2nd hole, with a few tiny ponds on the left (and cute tiny bridges too !) and a couple of tall trees in the way near the green, making your approach shot a little tough, especially considering that there is also a small pond to the left of the flag. The par-4 4th hole is another left dogleg, with a downward slope to the green and two cute tiny ponds behind (looking more like big shallow... jacuzzis, until you see the ducks in there, LOL !). Then, after the par-3 6th hole, downhill to the green with a nice panoramic view, you will reach the right dogleg par-4 7th, with a slightly-uphill tee shot, a few bunkers in the corner of the slanted and downhill fairway, and some beautiful red bricks houses on the right, not far from the green, with a small pond behind and two more nice houses (especially the one on the right, with two small lamp posts in front). But my favorite hole on the front 9 is the gorgeous par-3 8th, with a tee shot flying along a little bridge in the middle of a small lake, with another nice red brick house behind the green on the left. The back 9 has quite a few water holes, after the left dogleg par-5 10th, with a slightly-downhill tee shot, a narrow fairway and a slightly-elevated green, and the straight par-3 11th hole, with an elevated green, surrounded by a few tall trees. It starts with the very scenic par-4 12th hole, with a tee shot over a meandering lake all around the hole, and a slanted fairway with a downhill green, and is followed by the par-3 13th, with a tee shot over a wide lake, and the left dogleg par-4 14th hole, with another tee shot over a lake and an uphill approach to the green. Finally, after the straight par-4 16th hole, slightly uphill all the way to the green, with a small pond in the middle of the fairway, and another beautiful (and big) red brick house behind (with a smaller white one next to it, on the right), you will head for the very picturesque and long (more than 610 yards) left dogleg par-5 18th where, after a tee shot over the end of a big lake on the right, you will need to hit your third shot over the water again to reach the green. Overall, The Heritage Club is a beautiful, well-designed fantasy course by PdLegend and you should definitely enjoy it as some of us already did !

Outstanding creation, this is a brilliant course and a faultless design (at least to the untrained eye). The layout has great variety, clever architecture with subtle challenges and shifting difficulty level, and it plays smooth and true throughout - an absolute pleasure. Loved every minute and every hole, a masterpiece in my book, cheers!

Just warmed up for tour while playing with strong winds, normal greens, light ruff, and diff pins, and this course was a good challenge to say the least. Was at +4, but the last two holes will make your round or break it. Broke my rd with triple & double to finish, and I like the tuff pin location of the 17th hole with it tucked in the back left like it was. Must look where trees will end up after the drive off the tee too, and those bunkers are there too to keep ya honest. Wide open fairways on some holes, but they will trick you into gripping & ripping it, but be careful. Example: 2nd hole, I found it best to hit the good old 5 wood to stay back some to stay clear of the two trees, laid up & got myself a birdie. Plus, I don't ever use power shot because I wouldn't be hitting a 350-400 yd drive in real life , so I don't use it in this game. Well, it's kinda hard to hit just right too, but I still wouldn't use it even if I could nail it every time....... Only two birds, but I was playing in tuff conditions for my skill set on a tuff little course. Think I'm getting better at feeling the real vibe of what a course brings to the table, and love how this game stimulate real life golf round for me.
Liked the cool pond work on hole #4 behind the green. That was pretty neat with the wood work around it like that, and splitting the pond with two tiers was a nice touch. Plus the bridge on Hole #8 fit right in with the lush houses, and helped with my feeling with playing a nice country club that was private. Bet it's sweet looking in real life, and I'm going to go see if I can find pictures of this course with google. Good clean work, and the textures colors blended nice, but someone had a hole in the golf bag because I saw tees laying on the ground in some spots on the walking path.....:P Just joking around, and I hope you don't take it the wrong way, and I'm guessing tee textures leave tees on the ground ?
Thanks for your time while making this course Squirrely
