A gorgeous course, with nice elevation work, beautiful plantings, with plenty of wide undulating (or sloped) fairways, quite a few water hazards and well-placed bunkers, and with a couple of “postcard” holes to gaze at. You will be off to a pretty, but tough, start with the left dogleg par-4 1st hole, with a tee shot over a serpentine river, landing onto a fairway (with more water on both sides flowing out into a wide lake, behind the green, on the right), before heading for the nice par-3 2nd, with its elevated and sloped green, and two bunkers to watch for, on the left. Two other holes that stand out are the left dogleg par-4 4th, with a second shot over a serpentine river crossing the fairway, landing onto a sloped green, and the "postcard" par-3 5th, with a steeply-downhill tee shot over the river and a green, with nice flowers around. You will then face the risk/reward par-5 7th hole, with its winding and undulating fairway and where, with trees on the left, you might not be able to hit your downhill tee shot over them in order to have a clear view (and long shot) of the elevated green, hard to reach with a river crossing in front of it; as a result, you might have to settle down for a safer downhill tee shot to the right but with no chance of reaching the green on your second shot... You wil finish the front 9 with the very picturesque but tricky right dogleg par-4 9th hole, with a downhill tee shot landing between two lakes (with a tiny "island" linking two small bridges, on the right), and a blind shot over a huge rock in the middle of the narrow fairway, in order to reach the green. Coming back, you will face two easier right dogleg holes before admiring the superb par-3 12th, mentioned by BladeRunnerZA, with the winding road and fence (on the left) leading up to the gorgeous log cabin behind the green (on the right). Two left dogleg par-5 holes follow, with the 14th, more challenging with its undulating and sloped fairway, and a small elongated lake flowing across in front of the green, with two bunkers to watch for (left and behind). The scenery changes again with the other postcard hole, the superb par-3 16th, with a tee shot over a wide lake, landing onto a gorgeous green (with colorful flowers and trees behind), before finishing with the very nice left dogleg par-4 18th hole, with an uphill tee shot landing... down a sloped fairway (with two big bunkers in the left corner) and a last approach over a lake to reach the green. Believe it or not, this par 72 with its breathtaking views could have looked even better, without those grainy patches showing up past the course perimeter (and quite visible on a few holes) and, to a lesser extent, the little cart paths "sticking out" past the small bridges, but that does not take away the great designing job, done by Whiffle56 !

Fantastic course and design, really excellent work. It's realistic throughout, has a nicely varied layout and I loved the setting - beautiful to look at and play. Pick of the holes for me were the par 5's at 3 and 13, the par 4 4th and par 3 17th, and I thought both finishing holes at 9 and 18 were brilliant. Top shelf stuff, really creative and fun, cheers!

Outstanding effort. Beautiful scenery, challenging play. Can't ask for more, except maybe a lower score. I like the green stone work around the edges of the water, nice touch. Thanks Whiffle, I'll be watching for your next release.

Nice course Whiffle, i think you managed to capture the feeling of the style of course you set out to do very well. Everything is pretty much spot on definitely your best so far, keep em coming.
Just two small things i noticed, the cart paths leading up to the bridges extend under the bridge ends quite a bit which looks a bit odd. I would leave the paths just short of the bridge on either side or pack some planting under there to cover it up. The other is that some of the holes are very close to the course perimeter so with this particular pano you see quite a lot of the pano base texture, in future i would give myself more room on the edges of the course.

The files are there. I'm not sure what you mean. I wouldn't have approved the course if they weren't there. I just took a closer look at them and noticed that they weren't formatted properly, so I have gone back and recreated them for you.
