After playing this course, I have ambivalent feelings...
On one hand, willie did an incredible job with the steep elevation of the terrain. He also did very well with all the trees, plantings, deep bunkers and undulated fairways, not to mention the beautiful panorama (even though I did not get to see the Bay Bridge !).
On the other hand, the road along some greens looks unreal : on the 4th hole, it is almost at a 90-degree angle (!) and on the 13th hole it does not look smooth at all and is so slanted that anyone riding on it would fall down !
This being said, the course plays very smoothly and quite a few holes are nice : the par-4 3rd hole with its steep elevation and the par-4 5th hole with, probably, one of the longest shots in the air (in terms of time). The par-4 6th and the par-5 7th holes are nice too.
On the back 9, the very sharp dogleg to the left par-5 10th hole is pretty tough and the par-3 12th hole looks nice with a small creek running halfway through the fairway.
Overall, willie tackled a very tough course and he came up with a well-designed landscape which, with a few improvements, could end up being a great course.
In the meantime, it is worth playing and keeping !
P.S. This course, according to its description, has one par-6 hole, one of the few left in the world but, unfortunately, it is not present on this course...

I thought that this was a great course! The views of the bay and city were beautiful. Great Job!
