Elevation is king! And I simply love courses, real or fantasy, that have elevation, fair options and challenges that test your game but don't wreck your game...Kibir meets all of these. Thanks, BGravolicious, wonderful course you created.

Spectacular design, this is a really stunning piece of work. Gorgeous to look at, smooth as silk to play, perfectly-balanced difficulty, and an excellent layout - what more to say! As much as I was rapt on the front 9, the back 9 somehow upped the ante. Impossible to pick fave holes - I'd name half the course. A real visual feast and a killer track - I wouldn't hesitate to put this in the highest ranks of fantasy courses. Kudos BG and cheers!

Another great course from BGravolicious with a gorgeous layout and fun to play.
With quite a few elevation changes, nice little ponds, isolated trees, small rocks and a few tricky slopes on the greens, this par 73, at times, looks like a very nice links course (without the ocean) with its bunkers, small mounds, undulated fairways and (very) high rough that I had a "chance" to visit !
On the front 9, I like the very scenic par-5 3rd hole with its rollercoaster fairway and its little pond and tree on the left side, the straightforward par-4 4th, reachable from the tee with your driver but with a beautiful small pond and a nice tree near the green, and the par-4 5th, a little bit similar to the 3rd hole.
The back 9 has some great holes too, starting with the right dogleg par-4 10th, with its nice trees near the tee and small pond in the middle, the par-5 12th, with a very steep downhill slope leading to the green and a big pond on the right side with a small cabin and a small deck as a bonus, and the par-4 15th hole, where you will hit two shots uphill, the first one over the small cabin and big pond again. As for the par-5 17th hole, it is quite nice too and very long (more than 620 yards) with two uphill blind shots.
Kibir-Am-Lak is definitely a must-have course, well designed by BGravolicious and very enjoyable with its real look and scenery. So, pack up your bags and head to Ethiopia to discover this new gem !

What a marvellous effort - ditto earlier comments re rock, green & water textures, but also a fab layout. Fave holes for me are 4, 10, 12 & 15, particularly with the cabins on 12 & 15. This course is a great choice if you like challenging greens - there are a few here you don't want to just make the front of & the 17th would have to be one of the longest greens I've seen, reminiscent of a few on the original TW08 St Andrews. Beautiful course, BG...

I am with all the others on this course. IMHO it is one of the best designed and rendered courses that I have played. It may not be the toughest, but each hole has its own character, and it is a joy to play. If only it were real, I would seek it out just to be able to play it. The water shimmers and looks real, and the rocky outcroppings are terrific. A 5 in my book... Do not hesitate to download this one, it is a keeper.

I figure the world is 75% water for a reason. That is why I sail.

It seems CA doesn't do rocks textures to well sometimes, but whatever you did on this course. The rock edging looks pretty good, and I'm not talking about just the single rock you see throughout a course, but the edging rock stuff. I'm not the best with the designer talk, but hopefully you understand what I mean. Been a crazy busy week for me, and I usually would post more about a course, but I just wanted to put something here before I forgot too. Will try to post more once I play this course again.

Well worth the download for anyone looking for a good course to play.

Thanks for your hard work

This is one helluva course. Visually entertaining and very challenging. Played a skins match with some friends on very dry and the greens are brutally tough but totally fair and playable. I think the rock work is extremely good. That is tough to get right and the architect did a great job. I would recommend this course be used on any and all tours at whatever conditions suit your fancy. Thanks for the offering Grav!

Excellent course. Enjoyed everything but holes 12 and 15 stick in the memory. Peaceful course but it could have done with a few chirps of refined bird song. Five stars for me and good enough to have come with the original TW08 game.
