A little gem, nestled among the hundreds of fantasy courses... With its beautiful small mountains and lake panorama, old castles and scattered ruins, this links course is very well done and great fun to play. Ponds, lakes, streams, small fences, and plenty of bunkers and... gorse remind you of some Scottish courses. Needless to say, this par 72 has some beautiful holes, starting with the par-4 1st with a lake and a castle on the right side and the nice panorama in front. If the par-3 3rd hole has a nice overview, my favorite holes are the two par-5 4th, with its serpentine creek splitting the fairway in the middle, and the right dogleg 7th, with its meandering creek across and along the fairway on the left side. The par-4 8th hole is nice too, going the other way, with water on the right side and a castle on the left. The back 9 has some nice standout holes too, such as the left dogleg par-5 10th, with water and a castle near the green. After the castle, you will see ramparts on the par-4 11th hole near the green. The last two par-5 holes are quite tough : the 13th, with a stream flowing across the fairway, near the green, and the dogleg 18th, with a big lake on the left side and bunkers in the middle of the fairway to contend with. Well designed, well planted, this course is a definite keeper, not only because of its scenery but also because of its playibility, thanks to Eaglphan's great work !

Very fun course to play. I like how the course winds around the castle and you always know where you are in relation to where you started.

very nice course with lots of different shot options. Not sure if it was intentional but sometimes there are bushes that come out into the fairways. Thanks for the course, a real joy to play.
