After playing 8.5 holes, I came back and reread the comments here. Make no mistake, this is not just a course that meanders through castle country. It actually has you meander through castles. While it is a fun course, I exited after the 8.5 holes because of a few things I had an issue with.
One one hole, the computer player couldn't get his shot up on the green that was approx. 24 yds higer than the fairway. That wouldn't have been that much of a deal, but he hit his first shot up against a wall, hit is second towards the tee, and rehit the wall on his third putting him closer to the tee than his second. Took him 8 shots to get on the green.
Even that is not such a big deal to me cause I see computer players do stuff like this all the time. However, on 8 when his tee shot went through a wall and he chipped back throug it, that was a little much.
I do want to add that not all the weird stuff happened on the computer player side. I had a couple of shots that were close to the wall and I couldn't even see my player when hitting. And on a Par 3, my tee shot was short and it landed directly on the top of a wall. I took my second from there without a drop...top of the wall was flat. And, up to the point that I quit the game, every long tee shot was over trees that block the fairway. Not sure what was on the back nine, I stopped after the other player chipped through the wall.
Now that I have written all of this, I have just one more comment: I LOVE THIS COURSE!!!!!
...and I am going to go back and play it without a computer player. I had fun with my play, it was just frustrating with the other player. Cello, this isn't just fantasy, it is fantasy on drugs. Thanks!
