We normally play Expert, Tournnament, Calm just to ease play, and one hole was virtually impossible. Every hole should be "possible", so Windy or worse should be bourne in mind.

I enjoy this course immensely. It is well made and has an awesome layout, that (depending on the wind) requires either carefully planned shots ot lunatic attmpts at cart-path bounce :). Breezy very dry its very playable - gusty very dry it's an immense challenge, but a whole lot of fun. Not everyone's cup of tea, perhaps - but that in itself is not, (should not be.. ) a criticism. In my mind you have succeeded in making a tough, fun challenging course, and have done it very well.
cheers, Davy

Well I hate to criticize anybody making courses... You guys keep this game interesting and alive. And since I have never made a course myself who am I to judge.
But I have to say I really didn't find this enjoyable at all. Trying to land your ball on a few feet of fairway isn't much fun. And with wind almost imposable.
Anyway thanks for something different.... Hopefully the next one isn't quite so harsh on us mere mortals :)

Well I have now played the course and being a novice now understand the frustration!
Having scored 99, all I can say is a very nice looking course, but far too challenging and unfair to me!
I would love to see your talent used to build a more conventional course which is a challenge, but at least fair!

TinCup.. Great job. I play for fun and I did have fun playing this course. The scenery is great. I can see you put a lot of work into this course. Well, I thank you for doing it for us.. The fairways are narrow, making this more of a challenge... and as far as conditions go, we do have the option of making the course difficult or easy as we see fit. Keep up the good work.

TC, you show promise as a designer. There are quite a few holes on this course that are very good. Plenty of eye candy as well e.g the greens, the billboard on the first hole etc. As you are probably aware there are also a few holes that are almost unplayable on Windy/Expert settings. For this reason I can't really rate this course. Keep at it though.

Excellent course Tincup!! I look forward to anything else you create. I've read a few of the other comments, I saw one that said that the course did not play right, well i don't know what measuring system they were using but I found it plays wonderfully. I also love the fact that you made it to were you can make some "trick" shots, I find that it makes it more of a challenge. As always from you a masterpiece!!--Shannon

I want to come back on this if I may, I think the word "Fantasy" is a wrong word to describe, I think the word Fictional" is better, this course would come under fun or indeed fantasy, but we should change the categories on tjhis site and have the word fictional, ie that is a course that is not real, BUT the playability is REAL, Eg : you could not put this course and Windsong GC under the same category, but you could put Heraldic castles and this course under Fantasy.
all good normal playable course should be tagged FICTIONAL
Thats my idea for the site

Hey Tom... Man I played this course and shot -22 the first time bro I think its a great course and the greens are awesome with the name on them,, I havent see a course with that before. Its unique, and its your baby , and all of ours now. Dont worry about what some of these clowns in here say, if they were any kind of man, and had nothing good to say , then they wouldnt say nothing at all. Obviously One guy has mistaken you for someone else so you can cant his post out. So keep on truckin bro its a fabulous course,, and we all know how hard and long you took on it.

Well Ive read all the comments thus far an I think some of them are just down right rude to say the least, its not a course that you can play with strong winds but thats ok.. because its nice to be able play a course on calm winds an not shoot -15, my personal feelings about the course is its very interesting an a blast to play, An I love the way you put the name into the green the way you did, this is a fantasy course an take/play it as such an enjoy the curve balls that are throwing ur way..this course is going to be a course that either you like it or not..if your feelings on this course (dislike) it thats fine but bashing it the way some of you did is totally uncalled for..anyways keep up the grt8 work because without disiners like you an a host of others we would be playing stocks an that gets old real quick

I played this course very dry greens and difficult pins, this is an excellent course.people know what fantasy means my guess is they didn't score well so they find things wrong with the course.I had no problems from pro tees except the poor decisions i made trying to get extra out of my shots.gave this course a 5 well done tincup ty.

Whoa, what is with all of the flaming. Tincup, acknowledged the constructive criticism. Why are people flaming him and his course. The earlier posts I saw from the people that did not like the course had valid points and they were not derogatory. Sthrn, I think it may be wise to learn a bit of etiquette. Those comments are totally uncalled for. Tincup has taken he time to make a golf course that he wanted to play. It is a fantasy design. If you do not like it don't play it. I am not a big fan of fantasy courses, but that is my opinion. I also never rate them or try to critique them either. You could have said something along the lines of the other posters that didn't care for the style of the course either. Much more mature way of giving constructive feedback. It is attitudes like this this seriously has caused me serious consideration about continuing to release courses to the general public.

Marc, this is undoubtedly the worst course I've ever played. What happened since you abandoned your 3click expert friends, did you offer your neck for research at a lobotomy school? When you were playing with us you would have screeched like a banshee over a course like this. Retard out of bounds areas, postage stamp sized water greens, and amateurish layout including floating trees and the like make this course unplayable for even the cheating edger. Why don't you give up design and come back to the flock where you can help us all critique horse pucky courses like yours. Is there a negative 10 I can vote on?

Although I see your basic point, TinCup, you also have to realize that on average two or three courses have been published every day lately. You really can't ask of people to test each and every one of them on all possible pin postions on the off chance that there may be one that makes them like the course. As a fellow designer I would say it is a lot more advisable to heed these comments. They came from what I consider reasonably sane people who don't just shoot a designer down for the fun of it. And about assuming: We couldn't go through life without assuming all sorts of things. Nothing wrong with that in itself. (Don't worry; I know what you meant. I just thought it wasn't all that applicable in this particular case ;). On top of that you assume quite a lot in your own post yourself.)

Criticism is very good in the world, it is how we distinguish individuality. There are also words called assuming and insufficient information. This course is a ( FANTASY ) course with lots of obsticles to shoot around, also structures to use in a pinch. Playing this course on the back or pro tees makes it a "very" hard course, but if you set you game for the middle or forward tees and you use your amagination you will find scores coming in from -24 to -29 under. Some people have played this course over and over to see all of what it has to offer first before judging the whole outlook of something in life. Most people call that ( ASSUMING ) and we all know what assuming does to us in real life. I hope more people then not will play this course on all the tee boxes to find out the true joy and fun it has giving players in past few days! Good luck and happy shooting!

I agree with 13missup, just played this one...well its drop dead gorgeous isn't it, but it does not play very well. I agree on narrow fairways but too much obsession on blind doglegs and firing over trees, at times you can take 3 shots and still not have the pin in view, island hopping is not so great, narro fairway hit a nice tee shot over the trees fade in onto the fairway lovely shot...then when you see the next shot uugh! a big tree starting at you, so after awhile the incentive to hit precise shots fades away. hole 17 sums up the whole course, firing over trees and a hill onto an island green, which you cannot see. BUT lovely course to look at, or have a picnic.
