Hi Willy,
Another enjoyable round of golf on an above average course, so do not let others discourage you from your prolific output of courses.
Being a player not a designer quantity is far more important me they five class quality, as long as I have an enjoyable round!
I see another course off the production line, so I look forward to playing your new course.
Cheers Brian

Hi Willy,
I am a player not a designer, but I enjoy playing your courses!
I know if you so desire, to take the good advice from the learned designers you can do better!
If you decide otherwise then that is your right, as I will look forward to every course you produce and our learned friends may wish to remain silent with your courses, in the future and we will all be happy!
I will play this course and see what I think!
Cheers Brian

Nice job, but having played Pala Mesa, was a little disappointed with the panos and the over use of the palm trees, also too tight on some fairways.....Like I said, nice job, have enjoyed playing it as a game course, but realism needs some work.......

Willie, we are all really just trying to help. Wouldn't you agree that you'd get a lot more pleaasure out of your hobby if your work started to look better? I am working on a number of tutorials that offer easy ways to achieve very satisfying results on different areas of course design, such as shaping fairways, greens, bunkers and water hazards. Why don't you check them out? All I want is to see as many great courses out there as possible.

I agree with you jimi, but I didn't want to fire the first volly, seeing as how my attempts at course designing make Willie's look like masterpieces. I would just hope that somebody who puts out so many courses would start to make progress in the quality department. In my humble opinion, quality is more important than quantity.

Willie, Willie, Willie. You disappoint me. You're an even more prolific designer than I am, but you don't seem to have learned a whole lot over those dozens of designs. After all this time this is still a very basic course. The main playing areas are as flat as a pancake, the textures look bland and there are still lots of areas with unecessary folds and creases. It plays OK, but visually it is completely uninteresting. Maybe if you concentrated on trying to turn out one good course and put some time into that, you might get somewhere. This may sound negative, well, it is negative really, but I call 'em as I see 'em. You obviously have a real passion for course design. Why not try to improve your skills, instead of making the same basic mistakes over and over? (Message to Willie's friends: Don't start shooting at me, please. If he heeds my advice you'll all be the better for it.)
