Well, I just came back from Harvard and I guess I will have to trust kuby123 for his comments : even if this course does not look like a real public one, it is still a nice one, not overly spectacular, by any means, but enjoyable. This par 71 plays smoothly and has quite a few doglegs and some putts hard to read on quite a few holes. On the front 9, I like the nice dogleg par-4 1st hole, with a lake on the left side of the tree-lined fairway, the other left dogleg par-4 2nd, slightly downhill all the way to the green with an enormous bunker across the fairway, not far from the green, and the par-3 4th hole, with a pond (with 2 big trees in the water !) across in front of the green (and a little bunker in front) and a nice little brick house behind. The right dogleg par-5 6th hole is also challenging with a second and third shots uphill to the elevated green, just like the left dogleg par-4 8th, with a slightly-uphill tee shot and a downhill approach shot to the green. The back 9 has some nice holes too, starting with the straight and scenic par-4 11th, with a creek running all along on the left side and a few bunkers on the right (with a nice colonial-style white house behind the green), and the other straight par-5 12th hole, with a few bunkers on both sides of the undulated fairway midway through and a few smaller ones around the green in front. Then, after the par-3 13th hole, with a pond of the right side of the small green, guarded by a couple of bunkers, you will reach the unusual right dogleg par-4 15th, with a very narrow tree-lined fairway around the corner all the way to the green, before teeing off on the short par-5 left dogleg (less than 500 yards) where, despite a slanted fairway and a small green, surrounded by bunkers, you should be able to score an eagle or a birdie ! Overall, real or not, this course is worth playing, despite the couple of trees in the pond (on the 4th hole) and some angular paths, especially considering that you don't need a degree from Harvard to enjoy it !
