Very nice small-mountain panorama and gorgeous landscape on this par 72 course which plays very smoothly.
On the front 9, I like the scenic peninsula green of the par-3 2nd hole, the left dogleg par-4 3rd, with a big lake on the left side and, my favorite, the very picturesque par-4 5th hole, with a tee shot flying above a small lake (with a long bridge to the right) and your approach shot over a tiny pond (again, with a small bridge to look at) on the way to the downhill green.
Speaking of bridges, the par-5 11th hole, with its narrow fairway and meandering cart path, has two of them but... no water below : just grass ! The par-3 14th hole is pretty in a different way, as you will hit a tee shot over to the next hill, while contemplating all the trees below.
After the nice right dogleg par-4 15th hole, with an approach shot over the lake, the last three holes are beautiful and quite challenging at the same time : the very scenic par-3 16th hole has an undulated narrow fairway, high trees near the small green with the lake behind, the straightforward par-5 17th hole also has a very narrow fairway and a tough approach shot over the lake, and the flower-bed tribute to Payne Stewart around the green of the right dogleg par-5 18th hole, with the lake on the right side, is quite nice.
Well designed, once again, by PdLegend, this fantasy course is a definite keeper and, with its realistic look, great fun to play !
