What a course ! Maybe the only one where you can play golf and admire paintings at the same time... all for the "price of one" ! Chimaera Design came up with, not one, but two masterpieces : plantings are great, landscape is beautiful and with quite a few water hazards, you will have quite a challenge on your hands on a few holes, provided that you are not scared stiff with those giant... eyes as tee markers, looking at you as you tee off ! This par 72 has some beautiful holes, starting with the par-3 3rd, with a downhill green and a small lake in front, the par-4 7th, with its painting, closer to look at than the other ones and the par-4 8th, a risk/reward hole where you have to lay off from the tee if you don't want to end up in the lake. But my favorite hole, on the front 9, might be the par-5 9th, with a gorgeous house near the green and Dali's signatures all around the small garden with some beautiful small trees on the left side. The back 9 is very scenic too, especially on the first few holes, starting with the par-4 10th, with its downhill slope from the tee, its meandering creek in the middle and its elevated green. But my favorite hole is the following par-3 11th, with its twisted path leading to an island green. The next two holes are nice too : the par-5 12th, a right dogleg with a little creek flowing across the fairway near the green, and the par-4 13th, a dogleg with a lake on the left side of the slanted fairway. This course is definitely a top shelf : I just wished I had found the way to look closely at those paintings, too far away, but, apparently, some players were able to do so (see comments below). If anybody is willing to share that information, it would be greatly appreciated... In the meantime, thank you so much Chimaera Design for your artistic work and imagination !

Nice one Jimi, it all comes together nicely on this one. A special mention for the planting, i thought your choice of planting was excellent which helped to create a very natural feel to the course. I think this is one of your best.
