A well-designed course, going up and down the beautiful valley, with quite a few narrow and undulating fairways, a lot of blind shots, some water hazards, and steeply-elevated greens. The first few holes set the tone for what you will face all along, with the right dogleg par-4 1st, requiring a steeply-downhill tee shot and a blind shot toward the green, and the pretty par-3 3rd, with a steeply-downhill tee shot over a small lake diagonally in front of the green. Other holes standing out are the left dogleg par-4 6th, uphill all the way with a multi-tiered fairway and a blind approach to the green, and the par-3 7th, with a steeply-downhill tee shot over a S-shaped big pond in front of the green. But my favorite hole on the front 9 is the very scenic par-4 8th (seen on the above picture), with a steeply-downhill tee shot landing onto a narrow fairway, next to an elongated lake (on the left), ending near the green, with an elongated bunker on the right. The back 9 is not to be overlooked either with quite a few nice holes, such as the wide open par-3 12th, with a Y-shaped small lake in front of the green, with two elongated bunkers (on the left and behind) to watch for, and the right dogleg par-5 13th, with an uphill tee shot landing down onto an undulating fairway (next to a lake on the right, midway) and a very risky, but "doable", second shot over trees if you want to reach its steeply-elevated green for an eagle opportunity. Then, after the par-4 14th hole, with a blind and steeply-downhill tee shot offering a nice view of the valley and an uphill approach toward the green, you will move later on to the picturesque par-3 16th, with a nice panoramic view of the valley and with a big lake below the wide green (with elongated bunkers guarding it), and follow with the par-5 17th, with a blind and steeply-downhill tee shot and an elevated green, reachable on your second shot offering another gorgeous view of the valley. One last downhill tee shot landing onto a narrow fairway will await you on the par-4 18th hole, before an uphill approach to its elevated green... As its name indicates, this par 72 course is very hilly, but also very pretty and delightful to play. But in order to score well, you will have to choose the right clubs and "tame" the wind to reach those elevated greens while making sure to avoid the few deep elongated bunkers guarding them. If you do, then you will thank Alan Portway for his beautiful design...

your course looked nice what i could see keep getting kick out in the first hole right after the tee shot. I uninstalled it and put it back in and same thing happened again. So never got to play it. But will look forward to your next course.
