This links-style course is a very nice surprise, "hidden" among the more than 1000 fantasy courses out there, as it is well-designed, eye-pleasing and challenging, at times, with plenty of wide bunkers ready to welcome you errant shots, surrounded by deep rough, along with a lot of small mounds and a few water hazards coming into play. On the front 9, my favorite holes are the left dogleg par-4 2nd, with an elongated lake, midway, ending to the left of the green, and the uphill par-3 3rd, with its nice panoramic view of the small lakes and mounds scattered around. On the par-5 5th hole, you will need to hit a slightly-uphill tee shot over a mound and a wide bunker landing onto an undulating fairway, before firing a long approach toward the green (slightly to the left and with a lake on the right), before moving later on to the nice par-3 7th, with a tee shot over the lake and a wide bunker, with more deep rough around to watch for, right behind the green. You will need to hit another tee shot over the water on the right dogleg par-4 8th hole, before aiming your second shot toward the elevated green, then walking over to the par-5 9th, slightly uphill all the way, with a fairway quite narrow in the midde (with wide bunkers on both sides), and two more elongated bunkers, in front (left and right) of the green. Coming back, you will start with the scenic right dogleg par-4 10th hole, along the road on the left, with a lake to the right of the tee box, and a slightly-elevated green, then face later on the very long right dogleg par-5 13th, with a fairway, lined up with mounds and deep rough (on the left), wide bunkers and deep rough (on the right) and an elevated and sloped green. You will finish with two challenging holes, the pretty par-3 17th, with an undulating green, surrounded by plenty of wide bunkers, and the left dogleg par-5 18th, slightly-uphill all the way, with more wide bunkers along the fairway and surrounding the green. With its slight elevation changes, nice wooded panorama far away, and all those strategically-placed bunkers spread along undulating fairways, this par 72 can easily punish you if you are not careful enough with your shots. And even though, it is not the GOAT (greatest of all time), this Perdition Hills course is worth playing and keeping, thanks to ... GoatBoy !

Just recently downloaded the course and absolutely loved it!! Shot one of my best rounds on it as well.(54) I felt that it was a combonation of Bethpage and Sand Hills all topped off with MacKenzie like bunkers.

Just played this course on tour, and it's a pretty sweet course with some nice evaluation work. Loved the bunker work too, but this course whipped me silly just now, I'm a little off with my game today though. Going to try to beat it in my 2nd rd, but on this course, not being on off the tee makes for a tough rd. Got some tough rough too, and this was in light settings. Good layout with some interesting shots, and it had a very real like feel to it that added to the vibe of my rd. The lakes come into play on some holes, and almost every shot demanded my undivided attention. Looking forward to going to battle with this puppy again after I eat something......
Thanks for your time while making this course, and not sure if I ever told you thanks you for the tutorials, but if not. Thanks for making them because they have made learning course design very very helpful, and I would have had a much harder time getting started with this stuff without question without them. very nice course, fun, imaginative layout and great attention to detail. Only negative is a crash to desktop after hole three. I don't usually have problems with that. But I was able to restart it and had no further problems.

It is tough to please me with a fatasy course, and there are some real "OVERDONE" courses out there. HOWEVER, this course reminds me of a couple of real courses, and plays just as tough. You did a great job in designing this course, and it will be one of my favorites to play.
(I had another comment that somehow disappeared. If it does, I opologize for the double post).

Just played this course in the TWC Expert tour.Thought it was a below average course and was disappointed with the layout of it which seemed to be very overdone.I was expecting something far better after reading the comments before i played it,but we are all entitled to our opinions.

Very nice course ran well and good layout, only problem I had, I walked off the 17th green and it crashed to desktop! don't know what happened to make it do that.

Another classic by two of the best designers very challenging and demands accuracy off the tee. Don't get too aggressive and you can shoot a good round here but if you use the grip and rip style of play you may be in for a long day. Strategic bunkers makes some landing areas very tight and care must be taken in both aim and length to avoid trouble. There is some fun hole too though the first hole with a good wind behind you is drivable but it is risky pick your spots to attack and this is a fun and challenging course :)

Good to see the team back in action. Excellent course. Well worth downloading. The only drawback I had was the texture set did not render up very well on my pc anyway. They were very muted, almost blurry. The course was superbly created.
